Liam Brady was a pundit and he lost it with the presenter. He refused to take part in the following day's programme because of the direspect shown to Wenger and his (Brady's) Club.
I would like Wenger to step down as much as the next Gooner, but we cannot forget what he has done for Arsenal and for football. Arsene Wenger done more to transform football in England in the last 20 years than anyone else. The BBC and Sky have made a fortune marketing the game in that time. Would it have been as marketable as it has been without Foreign players and coaches.? Wenger and Henry or Big Sam and Lee Bowyer..?
I want Wenger to go not because I hate him, but because his time has run it's course and his continuing to be there is to the detriment of Arsenal. The longer he stays with the club in it's current limbo the harder it will be to remember his achievements.
On the Lineker issue I believe Arsene and Arsenal deserve better than that.

Cant wait to see Gary Poop My Pants Lineker doing his imitation of Fergie wagging his fingers and throwing in a Scottish accent and all after that game. Oh wait forgot about the double standards

Submitted this to BBC online complaints:

I was shocked and disgusted to see MOTD presenter Gary Lineker mockingly impersonate Arsenal's French manager Arsene Wenger.

Lineker's actions were unprofessional, childish, totally out of context with the show and most concerningly xenophobic.

The fact that Lineker chose to close the show with his impersonation highlights the fact that there was a malicious intent in his actions.

I feel it would be fitting for Lineker to make a public apology to Mr Wenger and the MOTD viewers on this coming Saturday's programme.

The FA have complained to the Sun about their headline yesterday which mocked Roy Hodgson's speech impediment. The difference between the Sun and the BBC is that the Sun is a tabloid newspaper that you can blissfully ignore, theBBC are funded by a licence fee that you have to pay. Both media organs insulted someone over the last few days. The difference ,Hodgson's employer registared their disgust at it, Wenger's employers havn't as yet.

I wonder if 100 angry Fulham fans phoned up the BBC the other week when they were mocking Martin Jol's voice in the post match interview

Personally i think it wasnt particularly funny from Lineker but im not bothered enough to write a complaint letter about it

At this stage all this shit should be put to bed and move on - lineker is a jug eared c**t who mistakenly believes that he is funny and thinks that having shagged "blue blood" once upon a time gives him a free pass on decency and respect
