Re: Weekend's other games
Sturridge reminds me a lot of wally walnut, scores a goal early doors in a game and then reckons that's him done for the day safe in the knowledge he'll be picked next week. Also bleats on about a central striker role despite having shit hold up play and a lack of real presence.
Re: Weekend's other games
Since my self imposed Arsenal exile I've been watching Ryman League football (Hendon) every week and am loving it. You may call it shite (I don't) but please don't wish the scousers on us. We don't deserve that.augie wrote:I know that the victims like to commemorate every death and tragedy that the have ever been involved in but now they are commemorating the birth of shankley ??![]()
Wtf is that all about ? These c**ts should be bombed out to the ryman league or some shite like that cos all their bullshit is seriously seriously getting on my fcuking nerves

Moyes has the same number of career victories at Anfield as he does at Old Trafford

I'm assuming that's zero?SteveO 35 wrote:Moyes has the same number of career victories at Anfield as he does at Old Trafford

Another insipid, negative display - if they lose at Citeh in their next away game the knives will be out for Moyes and the doubts will be creeping right in.SteveO 35 wrote:And the same number at Stamford Bridge and the bowl toog88ner wrote:I'm assuming that's zero?SteveO 35 wrote:Moyes has the same number of career victories at Anfield as he does at Old Trafford

I seem to remember you indicating you would be quite happy for Moyes to be given a chance at Arsenal when Wenger went in a discussion a few months back SteveO?
Re: Weekend's other games
I'm just having a laugh mate. He's still a decent manager and would gladly see him take over. Our job would have been a better step for him than United but I still think he'll do OK there.....just not well enough to satisfy those plastic wankers who will demand 3 trophies a seasonnorthbank123 wrote:Another insipid, negative display - if they lose at Citeh in their next away game the knives will be out for Moyes and the doubts will be creeping right in.SteveO 35 wrote:And the same number at Stamford Bridge and the bowl toog88ner wrote:I'm assuming that's zero?SteveO 35 wrote:Moyes has the same number of career victories at Anfield as he does at Old Trafford

I watched that Being Liverpool on ESPN - Rodgers told one of their new signings "interrupt me one more time when I'm speaking son, and I'll have you put on a plane back to Spain "
Imagine WANGER saying that to one of our little pampered darlings ?
Id rather have AVB, Rodgers or Moyes anyday.

I like the guy and it's a good to see a British manager at a top club but I hope he fails badly

City struggled at stoke.
i can't believe we're above city and united and possibly Chelsea at the end of the day.
they've all had a poor start but i still can't believe we'll be top 3.

Gareth Barryjust made an immense block to deny eto an open goal after howard gave the ball straight to a chav.
