Why would this fat mug use Sanchez as the example? Surely he should be picking the transfer of Fabregas, a player who couldn't even get into the starting XI of the biggest flops in WC history, over a player roundly agreed to be one of the best performers at the WC?
To be fair they did mention him later in the article. But it is a stupid impulsive article. Take a loo, at this
http://www.theguardian.com/football/ng- ... ompetition
In the quarter final, the PL was by far the best represented league
In the semis, it was Almost equal first, pipped by two players by the BL. At this stage the PL and the BL th had about three times as many players as La Liga.
The article is basically doing nothing more than making the amazing point that when it compels to attracting le crime de la creme. Madrid and Baracelona are unbeatable. Well. Duh. All the TV money in the world, prestigious histories, Great cities.
With Bayern and Manchester next in line. Obviously. Manchester is a shit hole in comparison with no beach doesn't help.
It's not about the elite gong to La Liga/ BL rather than the PL, t's about the elite going to Barca and Madrid.

Was sitting watching television with my missus (who knows nor cares one jot about football) last night, when the ad involving the chavs game came on, I noticed she looked a little confused, but she said nothing, then on the next break the ad with the mousers game came on, again she looked confused then turned to me an asked "is there some kind of campaign against Arsenal?"

I can't understand anyone who would actually PAY to get BT Sport.
it has a few premier league games each season and nothing else remotely worth watching.
I am either at the game for a BT Arsenal match or watching in the pub.

e.mailed the Club asking that they take some sort of action or make a protest to BT sport on behalf of their supporters (us) ..Saw second ad for BT sport and e.mailed the club back basically asking them not to bother, after all if one of our players , with or without the Club's permission, joins in an advert that mocks his employer and deeply offends us its supporters then us complaining has become pointless.
Very disappointed with Ox .

Have Absolute Radio on in work and this morning there was a 30-second radio ad for BT Sport about the Liverpool game. It doesn't even work over the radio. I know every club thinks they're hard done by by the media, the FA, refs etc but seems like a bit of a vendetta

Your right there does seem to be a vendetta against the club but I'm not sure that is necessarily a bad thing. We should use it to our advantage... siege mentality and all that, what better motivation is there than shoving shit like this straight back down their throats!northbank123 wrote:Have Absolute Radio on in work and this morning there was a 30-second radio ad for BT Sport about the Liverpool game. As for some of the comments on this thread... come on guys grow a fucking pair, have we gone all soft and sensitive all of a fucking sudden? We are The Arsenal and we have too much class to be bleating on about petty smalltime TV ads.

The siege mentality wouldn't work with le cock (not sure it works with most foreign managers to be fair) as he is a detatched rather than emotional manager - if he was a manager that believed in firing up his players then we wouldn't have seen the limp surrenders that we have witnessed so often in recent seasons (and I'm not just talking about last season btw). Le cock is the type of manager that wants to be loved by the media and would never want to be in conflict with them or use them to fire up his players

In that situation augie I would expect the players to do it for themselves and the fans.... we already know clueless cannot motivate the players.augie wrote:Brady's left peg wrote:Your right there does seem to be a vendetta against the club but I'm not sure that is necessarily a bad thing. Saw the ad. Was annoyed for something like a nanosecond. Then got on with my life.
I mean, everyone hates Arsenal. It's not exactly news, is it?

The Ox has let himself down. Even if the club gave him permission I think if he had stopped and thought about it for two seconds he would realise his teammates, employers and the fans are being mocked directly.
If enough people sign a petition and state they feel personally attacked and singled out because of their social choice is being used in a negative way then you could create some legal schmo but what's the point?
If they want to be pathetic let them.

They actually outbid Sky last year and have the rights to broadcast all the CL games - the only place you can watch it.Gunner Rob wrote:I can't understand anyone who would actually PAY to get BT Sport.

If you wanted to buy the new Arsenal shirt in a local sports shop what would you expect from the shop assistant ? I would expect polite respect , because I am paying for what he is selling.. The same applies to TV Channels, we pay we deserve respect. In this case we are not getting it and that is unjustified in any scenario. There are enough idiots in our work places , local pubs and families that "know Arsenal are (insert insult) ".. difference is their ignorant views are not costing us anything. BT Sport costs us so boycott, don't pay ..fuck them !!!
