CL Group Stage Draw

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

was looking out for a dutch side. fuck

zagreb is a shithole. terrible place for away fans.

athens is a steaming, smelly shit infested metropolis. similar to tottenham, but with an even worse economy.

2nd place is ours though :barscarf: 8)

olympiakos might as well be included in our premier league fixtures for 2016-17, seeing as we are forever locked in the same cunting group

Are you even an Arsenal supporter if you haven't been to Piraeus in December? :barscarf:

Bayern, Olympiakos, even Zagreb from 2007. All familiar teams to us, more so the first two. It really doesn't excite me at all.

Just for a bit of variety and excitement, I was hoping for something like PSG, Roma and Astana, but as has been said, I think everyone is already thinking ahead to game 6 in Athens in December :barscarf:

UEFA know how we roll

Thumping 3-0 win at home to Zagreb to seal qualification and then tame 2-0 loss in Greece in December

Thanks for all the special mentions fellas :D

I had the news broken to me about the draw just before I left work this evening, so apologies for my lateness on here. As you can imagine the first thing I did was call home to the missus to make sure everything in the house has been laminated for my return, before getting in the car and having to take 3 'pit stops' along the way just to have a sly one. Since then I've had to get my special 'Matchday Six' plastic bed sheets down from the loft and stash away the tissue reserves in the garage.

Who needs Viagra when this magical draw comes into our lives. It looks like I'm permanently pitching a tent at the moment

Now then who is going to dare make a prediction as to how this group will finish. Call me Mystic Meg but might it look like this

1. Bayern Munich
2. Arsenal
3. Olympiakos (place in Europa League secured with a home victory over us)
4. Zagreb (with a massive total of two points)

The thrill of the Group Stage.....this is what we slug it out for from August to May, so we can have days like these when we let it all go and rub through our trousers Vic Reeves' Shooting Stars style.

Rodders - order the lube ! I'm off for another cold shower now chaps.....

I've been in a permanent state of arousal since Olympiakos came out of the pot. Can anyone confirm that we are away to them in match day 6 before I run a bubble batch and light some candles for around the sides?

I reckon one of the group minnows will get a win against Bayern(something we will never do) throwing the group into chaos and meaning a mad panic for us to secure second,WENKER OUT!!

Mate - if that matchday is confirmed then I will be having extra 'me time' for the entire bank holiday weekend
