Why we will win the league

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Funny but when I heard that Middlesborough had chances to draw or even win today I was fucked off until I realised that Nostradamus Stevie had predicted a Chelsea win so there was no need to worry!! Oh and just for good measure he also said the Mickey Mousers would open up a nice lead on Everton so guaranteeing us 3 points next Saturday.
Anybody else got a stiffy?!?!?!?

Great post. I'd love us to win the league but i'm pessimistic at the mo. Cant see united dropping enough points. But boy will it be a fun ride.

It's not over, if city beast chelski and manure lose to boro then it's not two points lost it's one point gained.

Stevie, I was going to tell the world about your marvellous prediction but now even I have to concede that the large lady has cleared her throat and is about to put the first note out.
What a sad end to a season that was going to produce more than any of us expected last August. I'm not gonna slag anyone off, I'm just too deflated for that and I fear that 'those famous Anfield nights' will be a game too far for us on Tues. I pray it won't be but afer today I just can't see it. Loads of possession but nowt upfront.
WIFE!!! Get me another beer please...

Yeah, I kinda think that its a all over, though lets just enjoy the two games we have got too look forward to this week.

Come Tuesday night we might all be feeling a hell of a lot more positive about things, and saying bringing on Man U :D

Those of you who were persuaded by my predictions just check out how I said the league table would look at the end of this weekend.

Unfortunately, Chelsea have overtaken us somewhat, however, we are still only 6 points behind the leaders, as I predicted that Manure would win.

I'm still not writing us off just yet. :D

(Although my predictions for the remaining games now mean Chelsea will end up as Champions! However, I have them down as winning at Newcastle, and drawing at Everton in that controversial Thursday fixture, so hopefully we will see some extra dropped points)

That's the good news, the bad news however is that it's probably gonna be Ronaldo up against Eboue or Hoyte! Today was a bonus in terms of the result and injury to Ferdinand but Ronaldo and Rooney are still on fire and it just don't look very promising for us. But Pompey showed in the Cup that if you play well and have a bit of luck, owt is possible!!

Gutted - just checked Stevie's predictions again, if the results continue to follow his pattern it looks ad if Chelski will win the title.
