Senile old fool.Phil McNulty, BBC Sport chief football writer at Old Trafford
"Arsene Wenger talking again about "illusionary domination" by Arsenal. Fear that is more delusion than illusion. Strictly second best."

but the wenger lovers will fight you (for real) to defend their leaders grip on AFCSteveO 35 wrote:When we moved to the Grove, it was to compete 'with Europe's elite'. Perhaps we should move back south of the river where we can compete with South London's elite - watch out Palace and Charlton we're coming to get you

Totally outplayed from the first minute to last.Utd dldnt even have to be at their best. They have had harder training sessions .infact we had more shots in the 8-2..The gap between us and Utd gets bigger as each season passes .Wenger has to go now.
Can someone please tell me why we bought Podolski and why he is imune from any criticism?

That's an easy two parter to answerdonaldo wrote: Can someone please tell me why we bought Podolski and why he is imune from any criticism?
a) because he was available at 'the right price', is a winner, intelligent, efficient with hunger and desire, technically very strong etc
b) he fucking ain't. In the first half particularly he was awful i.e. at the same level he has been for four games in a row.

Apparently Ben Ainslie got Santos's shirt for a replacement sail for his boat!Bradywasking wrote:What a load of rubbish that was from Arsenal and Arsene..yeah two big decisions went against us in terms of the offside and red card (or lack of one for Cleverley) but we lay down and accepted that United were our betters for far too long in the game.. We were toothless, leaderless and spineless on and off the pitch. The first half was summed up by the smileySantos looking for Van Persie's shirt at half time. Notice Van Persie didn't ask for Santos' shirt, if Fergie saw him with an opponents shirt at half time he would crucify him. Something about winning mentality .That is lacking in our club.
I thought Mert played well , and Caz to a lesser extent. Can't say much else positive but again the traveling fans were outstanding. There is a malaise within the club but what is far worse is the acceptance of this malaise from within.

After 10 games last year we had 16 points & this year we have 15 that should underline how average we have become the way we have beem allowed to drift along by a manager & board that have no ambition to push us on as a club.
We had an absolute touch coming 3rd last year with 10 league defeats & even under this poor management should have been the point we finally decided to improve the team sheet not the balance sheet.
The sight at HT of the manager & also Santos towards you know who was pathetic to see the mentality of losers.Enjoy your souvenir Santos do that sort of crap away from the pitch.
The fans again magnificent this club has taken us for granted far too long.

Agree he wasn't at his best and hasn't been for a while but what can he do when he has to babysit that fat bastard at left back? It's not chance that his demise in form has coincided with Gibbs' injury.donaldo wrote:Totally outplayed from the first minute to last.Utd dldnt even have to be at their best. They have had harder training sessions .infact we had more shots in the 8-2..The gap between us and Utd gets bigger as each season passes .Wenger has to go now.

HighburyJD my old mate - I know you were up there and maybe haven't seen Santos cuddling up to him and exchanging his shirt at HALF TIME after the fucker had scored the only goal of the half to put us behind.highburyJD wrote:I'm just hoping for some fighting spirit on the pitch,

When you do see it, I hope that you are true to your word and give the useless fat fucker the grief he deserves. He's gone to the top of my 'get out' list something I never thought possible whilst Fabianski remains at the club

fergie in his post match interview was practically laughing how easy it was for his team and was asked did he take cleverly off because he was on a yellow card and the answer was a resounding yes

I wonder if Wenger is dead to JD, too - seeing RvP and Wenger embracing at half time was sickening stuffSteveO 35 wrote:HighburyJD my old mate - I know you were up there and maybe haven't seen Santos cuddling up to him and exchanging his shirt at HALF TIME after the fucker had scored the only goal of the half to put us behind.highburyJD wrote:I'm just hoping for some fighting spirit on the pitch,

Bring back the days of Keane, Vieira and Neville blanking each other in the tunnel, ready to go to war on the pitch. Our lot were probably busy giving RvP presents and arranging which of our lucky players would get the *word censored* shirt...

This was NOT a cosy little friendly against mates - it was Man Utd away at Old Trafford ffs!
