HENRY AND GALLAS ROB THE IRISH!!!?

Flash if he'd come out after the match and held his hands up (pardon the fucking pun!!!!) and admitted he cheated then honestly I would have taken it on the chin. But to hear him say it was an accident is a total disgrace and he has gone way down in my estimation on the back of it.

Henry will now forever be remembered as a cheat. Pure and simple. Just like Maradona will always be remembered for being the same.
not in my book....

Please tell me if VAn Persie does something similar in the CL final and wins us the trophy would you complain? would you complain if what happened last night happened in your favour?

The officials failed to spot a blatant hand ball... blame them and blame FIFA and UEFA for failing to introduce technology in situations like that.

What a legend. Great handball and kudos for admitting to it afterwards.

If RVP did that honestly it would leave a very bad taste in the mouth. Can you honestly say you'd like us to win the champions league like that?? It would certainly be a tarnished victory and we'd be lambasted by everyone as a result. I'd rather win it fair than cheat to win.

All I know is that IF it was an English or Irish player who helped the team through to the World Cup in this fashion, everything would have been hush hush! 8)

It was cheating there is no denying that! but keane controlled the ball with his hand te try to gain advantage on at least 4 occasioms last night, had he got away with it and scored as a result we would have taken it gladly. And he and Dudd missed gilt edged chances.
So all you Irish gooners out there, stop blaming Henry and start blaming those 2 wankers. :x
We just have to let it go or we will become embittered and twisted towards one of the greatesr players in history, like the Ingerlish are when it comes to the grearest player ever to handle a ball Diego Maradona

This is what he said -

Yes, there is a handball but I am not the referee,"

"I didn't deliberately do it , but it was handball.

"I'm in the box, there are two defenders in front of me. The ball bounced off my hand, the referee did not see it and I played on.

"It doesn't change anything to the fact that I'm happy we have qualified.

Saying it was not deliberate is a LIE. And that my friend is why he is a CHEAT.

Damien Duff:

"...if it was Robbie down the other end we would've tried it, you just expect the referee to see it..."

Let's admit it, perhaps ONLY 1 player outta 100 wouldn't have tried it. Even that I doubt when it comes to going to the grandest tournament in football.
