Gallas didn't do anything wrong. It was a decent reactive header if anything....

he did what everyone else would have done, instinctively.

It's up for the referee to spot it, or the linesman. This was nothing like a dive or handling the ball into the goal like Maradonna did.

Fair dues to Gallas for being in the right place, I'm surprised no one has mentioned the two french players who were offside and interfering with play as the free was taken :banghead:

all Radford can say is "it's only a world cup, at least the irish players can have a nice summer break"

Fair play to the oirish. You deserved better. We were the lucky ones tonight.

spot on!

I don't think he deliberatly thought about handling the ball. it just came to his hand and he must've thought "Oh well.. If the ref doesn't see it then fine"

I'm sooooooo embarrassed. Thierry Henry, TH14, 'The King' and my hero - a miserable cheat! His first handball was accidental but the second was deliberate. I've no strong feelings on Ireland qualifying but I'm so upset that Thierry cheated. I loved Thierry but he's gone right down in my estimation. I'll be watching closely for his response - I think hes going to find it hard to live with. Is that the side of him Nicole saw that led to their break up?

i have no problem with Henry doing what he did, if he did it in red and white we would see fuck all wrong with it.
He was just trying to win at all costs and was quite happy to take a yellow for it if spotted, what the fuck were the three officials at that they saw nothing, they had an excellent game all night but really dropped a clanger there
Henry's reputation will nosedive with me if he comes out after the match and tries to claim it wasn't a handball, i mean for fuck sake it was two handballs.
If i were french i would not bother booking two weeks in South Africa, they will be home after the group stages along with Eng-gur-land and all the other shite.

All corkbarry can say is that he knows Raddford is taking the piss (without a smiley emoticon) and corkbarry thinks Radford should shut the F*CK up.
