Sad news re Charlie! Charlie!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don’t know the guy but my thoughts are with him today. I believe in miracles and hope steve gives this the fight of his life.

A friend of mine at work had a similar thing with their mum. They had a massive brain tumour where the prognosis was grim. His mum pulled through however after a huge battle, loads of prayers and great care from the hospital.

Sad news, that puts everything into perspective and should make everyone aware of what is truly important in our lives.
And it's certainly not overpaid footie players.
Best wishes to all his family and friends.

Not a lot I can add that hasn't already been said. I don't know how similar the cases are but John Hartson was minutes away from losing his fight and fought back so let's pray we have a similar outcome here.

I am as shocked as everybody else on this forum to hear this dreadful news.

I barely know Charlie! Charlie!/Steve at all, just met him the once but I do like his posts on here.

Like Eboue-Why? said the big man Hartson fought back and is winning every day so while there is life, there is hope.

I'll be praying for Steve to come through this, my thoughts go out to him, his family and his friends.

Jesus. This is the worst news. So sorry to hear that Wayne. Thanks for letting everyone know, mate. Thoughts are with you and Percy and OMM.

I'm just shocked.

Rest in Peace, ChazX2.
