As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We're regarded as a great football team. I'm not defending him, or even saying I agree with the reputation but from the outside he is viewed as complete visionary and great manager.
I sometimes think people on the outside who dont watch too many games could have a clearer perspective
well in the way that they pretty much agree with me
its only those non-Gooners who read the English press that think Wenger is anything but brilliant
because they just notice a league table every now and then with Arsenal challenging
they see arsenal are in cup finals and big CL games and they think on that basis we must be pretty good
even Gooners were happier when we 'won' our battle with Spuds fpr 4th
than when we lose out in league title challenges and finish in the same position

not specifically at Arsenal, they 'could' have a clearer perspective on any club
the media blows blips into huge events
individual games into season definers
AC Milan or Real Madrid have a bad run all their local media writes off their best players, demands top down revolution
people who don't follow so closely are more likely to think of them in simple terms like where they finished last season
