Man City (H) CC Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yep, I think you're right Red. In some ways I'm glad that we're resting our best players for the League games.

We've missed Abou for long enough and look where it's got us in the League. We need to nurse him back gradually if we want to see more of those defence splitting passes such as the one on the last day of last season. Can't afford Abou out again
Brilliant SteveO who said comedy died when Norman Wisdom passed away

What Red Member meant was our Spud shirt wearing twat will be first choice for Wigan next season!!!!

on Abou Diaby…
The only thing we have to check is if Diaby is out for tomorrow. He has an MRI scan today and we'll see what's going on in his hamstring.

This really is sad news. I hope its just a precaution. More weeks / months without Abou and I fear the top 4 will slip further from our grasp. These tight home games when we stick to 4-5-1 require someone with his guile and eye for a threadneedled through ball.

About to head to game, but feel weird. Know we'll probably lose but will be fine with it, anything else is a bonus

I share your concern. I was optimistic too until I heard the news about Abou's injury

on at 2pm here. as with others, i wouldn't mind losing. the only real positives from winning are confidence and being able to see the Ox.

That's the KingJayson effect 8)

I think Squillaci will start so that's at least a 2 goal start to City to start with!
