Stop the doom and gloom!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We have more than double the league titles of all the other clubs in London combined..... 8)
Although it was a fact I was very proud of for many years, it's no longer true I'm afraid. We have 13 titles. :barscarf: Chelsea have 5 titles and Spurs 2. Add them together and that equals a total of 7 titles. Double of 7 is 14. :banghead: :banghead: Thus you are wrong. (The education system nowadays is fecking appalling!!)
Chelsea have won the title in 1954-55, 2004-5, 2005-6 and 2009-10.

Please enlighten me as to how that is five titles. :rubchin:
Well done SWL - you have passed the test. :barscarf: Thankyou for helping me dispel the modern day myth that the youngsters of today are all thick and that all the exams they take are easy. 8)

As for the rest of you that didn't even bother to check the facts before sniggering .....shame on you!!

we hardly ever lose at home in the CL
can only remember recent defeats to Chelski and ManUre who we don't have to finish 3rd to get beat by...
Depotivo La Coruna...?
struggling...

OOPs reread - pissed, not pissed on...
Still don't get it.
I happily neck a few minatures to warm the cockles on a CL night

Fenerbahce away
Derby at home
Villa away
Fulham away
Liege away

Just watch those games again and admire the man who will save us £40m and be like a 'new signing' next season.

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I'm looking forward to the first home game already

positive stuff about being a Gooner

living in god's own borough of Islington
not living in the smoldering hellhole that is Tottenham
we knocked Liverpool off their perch - most exciting league title ever
I got to see Rocky play week in week out
I saw my hero SuperSwede Anders Limpar win us the league(and I missed Chels but hardly any other game so the 1st JD Invincible season was '91)
we won the first ever domestic cup double in '93
all of those triumphs were built on the 2nd best club defence ever (doffs cap to Baresi, Costacurta, Tassoti, Maldini)
I thought Parma would beat us 4-0 in the CWC final and we won
Steve Bould gave the single greatest defensive performance I've seen in my life
I rejected a year at an American Uni because I was sure we would win the league in '98
and we did (also won a lot of money on our double)
Petit and Vieira tackling masterclass 97-00
Wenger's genius for replacing players I loved with EVEN BETTER players
Merse < Overmars < Pires
Watching Wrighty then Henry break out alltime scoring record
Thierry Henry - "WE'VE GOT THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD"
the '02 double against all odds - SuperBobby owns the Prem but Ljungberg, Henry and Vieira all win other POY trophies
(I would have given it to Sol - played with a bout a dozen different defenders)
Wenger mocked for suggesting going unbeaten at home as well as away is a target
jamming that down mockers throats in '04.
Especially through Henry's hat-trick v Liverpool when people said we would falter.

but absolutely the #1 best thing for me
is us signing someone who was already my favourite player in the World
the Dutch master, who I named my son after, the King

Dennis Bergkamp
