Congrats to Newport County on getting promoted to the Football League - seems harsh to me that only 2 go up from the Conference but a club that folded two and a half decades ago have done well to get to where they are now.

Agree with that. It's so fucking small-time, embarrassing. People thinking they're cool pretending to hate everything to do with England. By all means enjoy a healthy rivalry with English sports teams but this is the 21st century, long gone are the days of English invasions or fire-bombing holiday cottages. The main downside of Cardiff City getting promoted is that they're a fucking woeful representation of Welsh people and sports fans.

Glad you agree like you I can understand the healthy rivalry between England and Wales, but ffs, are some of these supporters so thick, thousands of Welsh soldiers have gone to war and died for Queen and Country, so I felt it was an insult to there fellow countrymen who have fought and died for Britain - Yeah i agree with you regarding Cardiff, I hope there supporters behave themselves

I personally wouldn't say that hearing God Save the Queen stirs up any emotion in me whatever and it's inextricably linked with English sports teams, but to boo it (especially at that event) is shocking form.

Speak to the vast majority of Cardiff City 'fans' and all they want is to impress people by causing trouble against Swansea, and see their players kick English people on TV. I went to Ninian Park the season after they got promoted to the Championship and they were drawing in a support of 8,000-9,000 for the three games I went to. But now you get all these teenagers and young adults going who just harp on about "Swansea game is gonna be mental", even though they wouldn't be caught within a mile of any of the proper Jack nutters.

But they have made millions now, and I think they will spend. They must know us fans are getting pissed off with the way transfers have been going.
I'm not sure Wenger is the man to be given the money to spend though,brought a lot of shit recently.

Yeah I dont trust Wenger to spend it wisely either. He'll quite likely make a couple of key additions ... to the list of players we will want rid of this time next year.

Probably good news for us as you'd expect Wigan to get beaten by Citeh in the FA Cup Final and be looking overwhelmingly favourites for relegation when they visit, and after we beat them (hopefully) Newcastle will be safe when we play them having scraped something at QPR.

Although I really would love to send Newcastle doon.
