SUNDERLAND THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yeah have this stream too, the host broadcaster must be American whose audience really need to be told when something good happens.

Tony Gale is the co-commentator who just moans about how shit Sunderland are.

Monreal picking up a knock and being substituted is a bit annoying.

lol. against this lot ? - this is like a training match.

he still runs up far too many blind alleys, gives the ball away and/or falls over in real games.

imho he's 3rd behind ramsay and falm still.

btw - there seems tons of empty seats next to the away fans. a lot of empty seats everywhere, but especially there - no way is there more than 56,000 today.

On your day you'll hammer us but we're decent away from home and IF we can catch you on an off day we might sneak it.

I'm not going down this season like, baby due in 3 weeks and a Wembley trip to pay for on top of Old Trafford for the semi (and the fact I'm leaving my job to move to Sunderland due to said baby) means I'm watching the pennies a bit. Will just have to make do with a stream (me good mate wibble off here is coming round to watch it with me, hopefully there won't be anything too controversial just to keep the peace!).

Some are saying the run in is more important than Wembley but I don't agree with that like - relegation and a cup win anytime over survival and a cup final defeat, want to actually win something! Having said that Sunderland love kicking us in the bollocks, we'll probably get smacked at the Emirates, battered at Wembley and get relegated  . Oh well :barscarf:
I retract this, we're shit

The flat track bullies return. A very good performance (albeit against a poor Mackem team) and a morale-boosting win which means my weekend is sorted. :barscarf:

I just wish we had a top bracket striker as Giroud's return against the top sides has been absolute muck.

Yeah possession football is definitely annoying, we really need to start playing that long ball style
how did we beat liverpool this season? how did we beat dortmund?

we are better at counter attacking football

Good cameo from Gnabry, pod was quiet. Jenko didn't have much to do. Poor keeping from ches to punch straight out.

Not much of a test, an easy three points. Shame the chavs scraped a win.

Giroud now has three more goals than Rooney.

of course he was, I was defending the point that tippy tappy is not the way we beat big sides, and sometimes it kills our attacks before they even start
