Not so sure why everyones so upset over this particular result .
We are miles behind ,Chelsea City, and Manchester utd in terms of Squads and individuals and thus we we are not even their rivals anymore, this we admit to in public judging by the last AGM ,and we've known it in private for years.
We are in danger of becoming like Liverpool fans ,bleating on about being a big club whilst the reality is far from it.
Van Persie was out last genuinely world class player ,we have no more.

What is more disconcerting is that we are will lose ground on those that are aiming for the coveted 4th place because our squads are too weak and our playing style too predictable.
This year there appear to be around 8 teams going for this prize last year there were only 2 Newcastle and Middlesex Macabi .

Utd were not that good on Saturday but were miles in front of us,we had no clue how to beat them and it showed but the way we played. I dont think we had a single effort towards goal in the first half and even until walcott ballooned over, making 3 in total !
The only Ray of light was that Arshavin looked good or the cameo appearance and might well yet serve us yet !

It was completely disgraceful. It sums up the players when a man responsible for them that essentially came out and said they all weren't good enough and anybody that stays has no ambition is greeted like everybody's best mate beforehand, going round high-fiving and hugging. Wenger and then Santos just took it to an even worse level.

The RVP love-in before the game and at half time reminded me a bit of our beeyatch's laughing and joking with the manc filth at the end of the 8-2 gang raping last year. Fucking cringe inducing. Ok, this year wasn't as bad but it demonstrates that we have boys playing for us, not men.

SHOW SOME FUCKING PRIDE YOU SPINELESS BITCHES! :banghead:

Fair play to Jack on this score though, he refused to even look at RVP when they shook hands, just shook the hand and looked away from him. 8)

I will play 5aside tonight, with my real friends (not a few people who work in my industry)
If I lose, I'll be pissed off. If I play badly I'll be more pissed off. I'm obviously slightly over competitive but fuck me I expect at least that from the people I pay to watch play.
Furious.
Absolutely furious.

Happy if Santos never plays for us again.

“We were poor today defensively I think,” Wenger said after the game at Old Trafford. “There’s no obvious reason [for that] apart from the fact that we didn’t start well

I'll give you an "obvious reason" mate - that fat waster pretending to be a full back. If you'd chosen to read the comments of any us 'haven't worked a single day in football' brigade on here, you might find that it was obvious to most of the entire fucking universe that that twat was going to get torn a new asshole by United's wide players, which is why people were suggesting either Vermaelen or Miquel should have been deployed there.

Not obvious??? Andre Santos being a fucking liability is 'not obvious'?

Whatever next - we lacked a little bit of pace for no obvious reason ?

Cesc in the tunnel before the Barca game in the Nou Camp two seasons ago springs to mind .

Agreed Herd. Its an insult to the fans to be laughing and joking with the oppo. on the pitch after taking a beating.

I hope that fat *word censored* Santos never plays for us again

Laughing and joking 'before'... I've no issue with that.

Me neither. Half time when we're being smashed?? With a fella that left you basically because you weren't good enough for him - unforgiveable. As I said earlier there will shortly be some prepared statement on Fatty's behalf suggesting 'cultural differences' and some sort of private reasons justifying his love-in with Judas, and no doubt most fans will forgive him for it. Not this one though.

I do. At a time when they should be psyching themselves up for the battle ahead, they are laughing and joking and hugging the oppo? No. Not acceptable to me. A polite shake of the hand to a former team mate is fine but that's it.

Our players seem to approach games with a victim's happy go-lucky mindset, whereas the Chavs, MancFilth and Citeh players (and Stoke's too, for example) seem to approach it with a predator's "let's get in there and tear these twats a fucking new one" mindset.

Swap shock: Wenger demands answers from Santos over RVP shirt hunt

4 Nov 2012 22:33
Arsenal's Brazilian star had a cosy chat and a shirt swap with his old pal Robin Van Persie - at half-time in a crucial league game...

Arsene Wenger has demanded answers from Andre Santos over the defender’s incredible half-time shirt swap with Robin van Persie.

Wenger was left stunned when the Brazilian strolled into the dressing room with the Manchester United striker’s shirt over his shoulder.

Angry Arsenal fans have savaged the left-back for an action they believe shamed him and the club.

Santos was caught on TV taking Van Persie’s top as he and the former Arsenal striker walked towards the tunnel at the break during the Gunners’ Premier League defeat at Old Trafford.

Mirror Sport understands Wenger, who had not seen the TV pictures beforehand, spoke to Santos in the dressing room at half-time.

The Arsenal boss demanded to know why Santos accepted the shirt and Wenger is understood to have left the Brazilian in no doubt as to how unhappy he was at the gesture.

Anyone else see that tart getting chucked out for wearing the Van Persie top in the away end?

The shirt swapping incident was both a disgrace and embarrassment, but then again what to you expect from some of the half wits that represent this club.

What about the two clowns who threw their shirt into the crowd at Reading thinking there was a reply!!!
