Euro 2012

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i never rated robben at chelsea either - he was either injured or inconsistent (sound like anyone we know theo ?...) so i wasn't surprised when he left, and even though i saw him score a few good goals on the weekly highlights, i wasn't surprised when he bottled against Bayern.

for the first time in many years there was not a single dutch player to stand out - i wasn't impressed by van bommel, huntelaaar or sneijder.

the team reminded me of the years when they tried to rebuild and depended on seedorf and kluivert.

i was watching the Germany game btw - an interesting fact was brought up about podolski on ESPN - he is the youngest european player to reach a 100 caps. they were also creaming about his 43 goals in 100 games, as for the majority of the games he's not been the striker.

He'll do well replacing RVP

This goes to show what a joke EUFA are

UEFA fines: £45K Spain 2004 (racism); £16K Serbia 2007 (racism); £10K Croatia 2008 (racism). €100K Bendtner (exposing pants).

true. but to replace chamakh, bendtner or park is what he's been bought for i think.

for the last two years we've been told we rely too much on one player haven't we ?

Good point so many are missing.

There seems a mad panic because we've signed 2 strikers that Robin has to be leaving as a result.

That's simply not true, all along its been known that he loves Arsenal but wants the club.to.compete.

How do we know they have not been signed for that reason? We don't but if they have then we will compete and our captain may want to stay.

Its always been about his competitive edge and not money, now we will see.

Not looking good in Poznan. Think the boys might be advised to do the Poznan for the whole of the second half.
