Might have to get myself into Block 2 for the Swansea game for the love-in
ONE ARSENE WENGER......THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER

But where's the new contract ????!!!!afcforever wrote:Dont forget we had Ramsey, Walcot, wilshire, Ozil missing today, oh and Diaby. We still have a chance to win the prem and FA cup, don't write Wenger off just yet.
Personally I wouldn't give him a new contract, but I do love BBQSteveO 35 wrote:But where's the new contract ????!!!!afcforever wrote:Dont forget we had Ramsey, Walcot, wilshire, Ozil missing today, oh and Diaby. We still have a chance to win the prem and FA cup, don't write Wenger off just yet.
I'm getting more and more impatient
Thanks for that mate, now I know it only matters what we do against man united. The other 36 games don't matter.clockender1 wrote:liverpool took 6 points off United this year - we took one, the least in the top nine joint with Southampton, who still have to play them at home...
for this we pay wenger 5million a year and are offering him a new contract.
And we'd be 5 points better off in that title race if we'd beaten themtopcat wrote:Thanks for that mate, now I know it only matters what we do against man united. Mate, forget where we get the points because it dosn't matter. The fact is we're in a title race.
Don't make that your last post, all peoples views are different.Block93 wrote:This is my last post - I do understand why most responses have not been in agreement with me, and today's result doesn't prove anything either way (except that you do need a bit of luck sometimes, and a decent striker would help too).
Just one final thing, if Wenger had left at the end of last season, I would bet that, for most, David Moyes would have represented a decent replacement, as he was always being praised for what he did at Everton. If he was first choice for Man Utd, then he'd probably have been at least considered at Arsenal. It isn't just hindsight, but it just shows that sometimes changing things doesn't work. I'd be interested to see suggestions for Wenger's potential replacement - I bet Martinez would now be up there.
My solution - the appointment of a Director of Football (or some other pretentious title) who had the board's authority, and who had direct influence over Wenger's transfer policies. A one-man transfer committee doesn't work. Wenger has proved over the years he can spot brilliant talent, so don't chuck that away - he just needs someone experienced to give him a kick up the posterior to go out and sign it. And what about Draxler - not sure he has been the superstar talked about in January. That maybe was £38m saved after all.
Agree with afcforever - as long as you are espousing genuine views you should stick around unless you find it particularly unpleasant.afcforever wrote:Don't make that your last post, all peoples views are different.Block93 wrote:This is my last post - I do understand why most responses have not been in agreement with me, and today's result doesn't prove anything either way (except that you do need a bit of luck sometimes, and a decent striker would help too).

i don't think there's a single person here would disagree with that mate.Block93 wrote:

remind me - weren't we 5 points clear when we had united at home, or would have gone clear 5pts over the chavs ?northbank123 wrote:And we'd be 5 points better off in that title race if we'd beaten themtopcat wrote:Thanks for that mate, now I know it only matters what we do against man united. But seriously, although there is a tendency to get bogged down every single game and some people seemingly think we should drop no silly points all season, the United point is a valid one. l.
Opinions are like arse holes - everyone's got one! So no need to go away.Block93 wrote:This is my last post.
