AZ Alkmaar champions league

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

qualification should still be a formality. Just annoying that i watched through 90 minutes of that dross just to concede at the death. :banghead:

Same old story, our attacking play is some of the best out there but we absolutely suck at defending. Its of utmost importance that Wenger fixes this if we're to mount a serious challenge on the PL/CL this year.

Shame we couldn't keep the winning run going, but still a good result away from home.

to be fair didnt deserve to win, pretty crap all night, no clear cut chances but then neither did they till last 20 mins. diaby was shocking, clichy likewise cesc had an off game too, mannone is not good enough im afraid full stop. none of the keepers are though.

shouldnt matter in the long run but hopefully shold be a wake up call for sunday and vs the spuds as the hammers will be well up for it and are due a result, as will the spuds be.

Appalling game i was tempted to turn over at one point and watch Liverpool and they got done too :)

Hope it was a one off after the decent run we have had recently
