Dear "realists"

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm pretty much the same... I refused to leave early from the United game despite my mate nagging me (from about 60 mins in  ) as I was convinced we still had a chance, likewise, I was still hoping Milan would have a miraculous recovery until half time on Wednesday.

They never learn mate, every summer we laugh our bollocks off at the **** for this kind of shite  Please leave gloating until *after* we win something then us "realists" can rejoice in the fact that we were wrong while being told how wrong we were, a price worth paying I think   :barscarf:

Yep. And in all honesty most of us are in that group. Very few people are total rosetinters/optimists or total realists/pessimists.

But here's the catch - I'm like that too!! At 2-0 up I'm shitting myself thinking we need a third!

Reading through this whole thread i cant believe im not involved in it at any point!

A lot of interesting stuff said and an awful lot of rubbish

Spudmasher, you dont half like telling people where to go dont you, if it was up to you it would just be you and about 7 of your mates on here talking, ive seen several threads which end with you telling someone 'if you dont like it you can fuck off' or something similar, its not that good coming from a mod is it?

I think it might have gone to your head slightly? you sound like an old headmaster talking to a child who is refusing to wear the correct school unform 'well thats the uniform here sunny, if you dont like it, you can just go off and find another school' i think you should try to cut this out a bit

fair enough the lad said some silly things, but a couple of them were quite funny, no need to go over the top.

Ah, we're top of the league - We should all be happy, and I reckon people should put their petty squabbles behind them and move on. It's only an internet forum - so lets turn this into a gooner utopia!
