If we had won some trophies in the past 3 seasons Samir would be staying and we'd all be saying what a great player he is.

the guy is a great talent and stands out amongst a squad with too many average players.

If I were him I'd be off to a club with some ambition to come "First not Fourth".

the comments about manure are right out of order but surely it says more about our lack of ambitions and in particular Wenger.

As I have said before I donâ€™t blame him in the slightest. He is a quality player (yes I know for half a season) but a quality player that can win you games if need be. He is also the kind of player that should be playing with other quality players and not out of position.

He should also be in a team that has ambition and a will to win trophies. Not a team full of *word censored*, run by *word censored* owned by *word censored* that is happy to make profit year after year securing 4th spot.

There is no way players like Nasri would contemplate leaving if we were winning titles (regardless of wages) Trust me I wish my mind could by wiped and some rich fucker tell me to support Manure and I will pay 30mil and give you 115k a week to do so.

Why should he stay? What great times as he had with us

Are we trying our best to sign world class players to play along side him?

Are we ambitious or do we just want to make money for the board and for the old cretin Wenger!

Not so sure. They have their rooney/chick pea system that seems to be doing them favours. Plus, i have to say ive never been particularly impressed by Nasri in that role, his passing isnt creative enough, his instinct is to give & go and not to look for that killer pass. Rooney is better at that.

I wager that if he goes there he will be playing wide. However, the mancs will probably improve his game by teaching him the art of crossing a ball which is beneath us at Arsenal.

Maybe if Wenger had corrected the clear problems Nasri would of signed his contract months ago

Did Ronaldo not leave Man Utd after 3 titles in a row, 2 cl finals in a row (one of which they won) ? I think you can't win in these situations, these players only have a short career and they don't give a fcuk who they play for as long as it is what they want. Ronaldo won all he could at man u and wanted a new challenged, if Nasri has just won 3 titles in a row at Arsenal you can bet he'd still want a "new challenge" regaldess of what the fcuk we'd won or not..he can spin it to suit his need.

its time to wake up people.you have a choice and its quite simple.carry on with the system we've got ,ie kids and cheap useless buys or pay the fucking going rate.all you who are calling them greedy bastards are fucking hypocrites.any one of you would go to the company down the road for a 50% pay rise plus perks,don't even try to defend your position.the other point is that the days of club loyalty are long gone and old *word censored* like me have got to get used to it.the reason we aint won anything for the last few years is in no small part down to wenger not paying the going rate and one name for me stands out and it aint cuntly,FLAMINI,he would have made all the difference for another20k aweek.pay whats needed or forget ever winning the title again.simples.

We aren't a company this is a football club. You get paid thousands and are practically worshipped by fans. Its not a fucking company to me it is a community, a sociey. If you want out becuase someone else is offering more money and you leave your a mercenary. Some player don't want to look at themselves when they don't win things. They want to leave becuase they think they're better, welll fuck them

Winning 3 titles and 2 champions league is like the other side of the coin mate. He left as he wanted a new challenge after giving Manure a great service by helping them win so much.

If we won 3 titles and 2 Champions leagues and then a player like Nasri wanted to leave I would understand.

Basically most of the time players donâ€™t want to leave if they are at a successful club.

The simple fact is that players want to better their careers. With Nasri I don't think it's all about the money.

He played for arguably the top side in France and was a success, so he moved to Arsenal - a bigger club in a better league. But we are not amongst Europe's elite and never will be until we start winning our domestic league on a more regular basis and stick a European trophy or two in the cabinet.

So the cycle goes on - he's done well enough at Arsenal despite what anyone says to attract the attention of bigger clubs than us; of which AC Milan are most definitely one, and Manchester United another.

Then if he does well there and Barca / Real come calling - who is to say he won't do the same again.

Despite what the most passionate of Gooners might think, why should the guy by loyal to a club whose sole ambition is to finish 4th and get to the last eight of major cup competitions, when he can sign for a club that will put medals in his cabinet.

If Cahill joined from Bolton or Samba from Blackburn...does that make them mercenary *word censored* too ??
