As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just hope it's as successful as those flags against the mancs that time
But I also say fair play to RedAction. I know we all take the piss out of them (some more than others augie!! ) but card displays and flags are what the big Euopean nights should be about.

Tbf I'm not against them per se and am very much behind the idea of groups representing the fans, but what winds me up is their refusal (and that of the other groups as well) to actually take on the club on the really meaty issues and their fear of saying anything vaguely criticising the wenker To me you can choose to be either popular (with the club and pro wenker camp) or you can be useful
I'm not usually a fan of these forced attempts at generating an atmosphere, if you can't get excited about a game like this what is the point of being a football fan, I don't think a card on my seat will make any difference.
That said I do still have the pink plastic trumpet from the 94 cup winners cup final, although it doesnt squeak anymore

It's a valid point augie but were RedAction actually set up to do that? I might be wrong here but I thought they were established to improve the atmos in the stadium rather than to campaign for the fans RE serious issues with the team/board/manager etc? Can someone confirm if I'm right or just a total fuckwad please?

Think you already know the answer to that you tease you
Probably a bit of both DB cos you are def a fcukwad
I know that redaction can claim to have originally been set up to improve atmosphere but can it be said that it is still their sole target ? Have they enjoyed being perceived as the voice of the fans since though both in terms of meetings with the club and also when the media (sky) look for someone to interview ? If they are happy to enjoy the perks then surely they have to be willing to take on the responsibilities that come with it ?
Here's an email I recieved from AISA regarding the card display:
TONIGHT'S MATCH v BAYERN MUNICH - REMINDER
REDaction have been working with Arsenal to organise a card display for the Bayern game – covering the whole stadium with red and white cards. These are not cheap to organise, but they look fantastic when they work. The success depends on people being in their seats in good time before kickoff. Make sure you are in your seat by 7:35, ready to turn the stadium red and white when the players come onto the pitch. To help make the card display look as good as it can be, REDaction are asking everybody to do three things:
Get yourself into your seat by 7:35pm.
Remind all your friends, both in person and via social media, that they need to do the same!
When you leave the pub to get to the stadium, bring as many people with you as possible
Most people say they want a fantastic atmosphere in our stadium. Here is a great opportunity to achieve exactly that – but it needs YOU. Most of the action will be around the players coming out, and during the Champions League anthem. Keep hold of your cards, and re-use it if we score – when Bayern are taking the kickoff. This has been done at grounds in Europe and South America before, but would be a first for a ground in the UK.
Hope it goes well, but with the amount of people that turn up 10 minutes late it could go a little pear shaped

I'm not against the red action people however they do seem to attract more of their fair share of our care in the community supporters to the rocket .
Their marches to the ground remind me of a variety club sea side outing .

Arsenal should refuse entry to the seats if people can't get there before kick off
This deffo wouldn't work, GR. The place would be half empty...
