LEAGUE CUP THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Diaby couldn't work in a feckin McDonalds! Useless piece of shit!
injury lawyers would love it if he did- 'have you been injured in an accident at work that wasn't your fault'...

This will end in tears. We produce fuck all, just play the ball around, no chances, no nothing. Our defense is ripped open time and again, better team would have scored at least two more against us.

the players are immaterial Ed - its the system and tactics that are at fault.

we get the ball, we push our full backs up. we then lose the ball and they play in behind them.

until wonga realises that system requires TWO DM's to cover then we are fucked.

in possession we are 3-5-2 and only one of the 5 stays back.

a 10 year old could figure this out, but not Mr 30 YEARS apparently. dick. :banghead:

We really are shit. They want it more, pressing hard & have urgency in their play. We are strolling about as if we have won it already.

Yes exactly this is the problem, again and again and again. No matter if players come and go, it's the same old same old.

No DM, not that Abou has done much of a DM job.

Anyone watching , is Campbell really as poor as Alan Green and John Hartson are making out ?

We are all attack, looks like a break away goal coming on the counter for them, especially with Long coming on.

That sounded close

Yep, Campbell and Podolski both. Zero performance from both of them.

how can we feed the strikers if we don't control the midfield - same again as with Giroud isn't it - they get scraps and long balls up to them with no support to lay it off, turn and run inside.....

its bradford, blackburn, schalke, swansea, wigan and hull again isn't it ?

wonga learns nothing. :censored:
