Baggies away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thought he got it right today with Giroud and Welbeck both starting and how they fitted in together, looked very good at times.

The banner also looked very good though too!

Unfortunately Wenger will survive for at least 2 and a half more years because when the pressure truly cranks up we go on a run of results which sees us achieve the bare minimum which is enough for the board, him and ridiculously a lot of our support.

The lazy, clumsy frenchman up front is a waste of space with Danny boy on the field. The Ox should have started. Nice to have Kos back & why play Monrael before Gibbs ?. Hope his injury is not too bad though. Happy with the win but a game of wasted chances could have cost us if they had scored from that header late in the game. RIP Philip Hughes from a Gooner. He loved the game. :barscarf: :barscarf:

WELL PLAYED! To the banner boy's! Was just to the right of it but oblivious to it's appearance until I got home. Usual 'buts' about qualification for CL and attracting big players being trotted out heard on way out though.

SHIT PERFORMANCE To the 'Braaaap innit bruv ' guy standing beside me who for 90 minutes shouted 'DEFENCE'' every time the ball came within 40 yards of our goal. Birmingham Knights stadium down the road mate.

WELL PLAYED To the new Alex Sanchez ditty to the tune of The Proclaimers '500 Miles 'doing the rounds. Catchy as hell and will sound the dogs when it gets more airing.

SHIT PERFORMANCE For the train service after the game, took forever to round up a few trains and then they were ones with only two carriages :cussing:

WELL PLAYED Three points. That time of the year and hopefully Santi keeps on delivering. Decent enough team showing even if Albion were poor for the most part.

Nothing game that Arsenal were comfortable in but in (recent) time honoured fashion contrived to make it anything but comfortable in the end. Santi showed some form at last, Danny heading for left wing oblivion in the footsteps of Arshavin and Podolski.

Not according to John Cross - you're not proper supporters !

Baba (sorry Ike :D ) - can you come up with the right words to describe John Cross ?

I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more, to see the little Chilean score and hear the Arsenal faithful roar, Alexis, ALEXIS..
