According to @Haberturk, Besiktas want to bring Elneny back to the club. https://t.co/QoQHZDTYtX

According to @ChrisWheatley_, Lucas Torreira expressed his desire to compete for a place in the #Arsenal midfield - but was informed that he is not part of Mikel Arteta's plans for the new season. https://t.co/k7ex3F2V2V
at least twice the player as xhaka or elneny, yet arteta wont reintegrate him. yes hes been homesick failed to settle and wanted to leave because of that (as well as his poor treatment by us) but on form or even ff hes better than what we have and could make the CM look much better at a stroke alongside partey.

yet more self harm
Agreed. Torreira isn't world class but he pisses all over Elninny and pisses, shits, and vomits all over Clive.
So does my Dead Granny ! :D

Wasn't my first choice to come but got to get behind the lad. Even Spunky Seaman suffered a relegation early on in his career, and after the years of dross we've had in goal since him, it'd be nice to have an unspectacular, no thrills , solid keeper.

He's a more than decent shot stopper too. I know it's a YT compilation but if he's pulling off some of these saves already I'd be confident other parts of him game will improve also.

Really like Martinez but you are comparing a 23 year old vs a 28 year old in his prime years. The latter was always going to be a superior keeper but Ramsdale can hold his own, as he has shown both in Bournemouth and SHU.

Enlish luxury tax is the reflection of the price, any other nation and he'd be in for 10-15. If Bissouma was English he'd be worth 90M.

Can’t find it now but sure I read he had a terrible shot/save ratio, possibly the worst in the league last year?
He had the longest goal kicks in the EPL though so perhaps a bit of route one footy coming up!

I think you'll find that having a very poor defence in front of him at Sheff U will reflect on that ratio a bit.

I’m really happy to get Ramsdale, a decent keeper already (better than Leno) and a LOT of potential.
OhdearGod I’m really not sure about……

If it's any consolation I remember when we were linked to sign Dave Seaman, there was much the same kind of apathy towards Lukic being replaced. That didn't turn out too bad. I remember he did well at Bournemouth but couldn't stop them from being relegated. Struggled at Sheffield United, only kept 4 clean sheets. It might work out, still unsure.
Will Odegaard be better with the security of a permanent transfer rather than a loan? He won't have an eye on getting back into Madrid.
Just need a proper forward.
Certainly strengthened the squad.

I like Odegaard and pretty chuffed we’ve signed him. £30-35m seems a decent price too

I do think it’ll shift ESR to the left (which is a worry) but I think he’s okay there. He naturally drifts wide anyway and has a good relationship with Tierney overlapping.

Desperately need a number 9 though.
Might persuade his best mate and compatriot Haaland to join us nest season for £65m.
It's happened before, Rocky got us Wrighty, DB10 got us Overmars, and Ozil got us Mustafi, Kolasinac and Sokratis.
Stranger things have happened.

Just for a bit of context on the first 2 cases you mentioned - we had no competition on wrighty, and overmars was coming off a serious knee injury and the football community felt that he wouldnt be the same player after it
Think West Ham were in for Wrighty, and they were wrong about overmars.

So; we have signed Tavares, Lokonga, Odegaard and Ramsdale.

Who the fuckk knows, as any one of them may turn out to be Excellent or a Waste of Money - or all of them be a success.

We have to give them a chance, even so regardless of their potential and what they become as a player, I still have NO Confidence at all in Arteta and edu.

They have re-signed xhaka when he should have gone.

They have not off-loaded ballerina. willian, elneny, torreira (who just doesn't want to be here), they let Guendouzi go and he had 'Potential' (imo) and they haven't given Sliba a chance and from the few bits I have seen of him since he went to Marseille has Huge potential.

The common factor in all this is Arteta and Edu and the other Cunnt (can never remember his name)

If we had a different Manager & Coaching Team and Transfers Set-Up / Team - then I would be more hopeful.

Then of course we have the Wiggies who are deserving of nothing but scorn.

Its one ting to look good being a good shot stopper when you goals is being assaulted every 5 minutes as is the case with Sheffield United. It will be different here at Arsenal, although he might not notice the difference this week at Chelsea then at home to Man City the week after. But when we start playing the teams below & around us (assuming we are a 10th-5th ranged team) that's when he will be judged. When he hasnt been tested all game and we are 1-0 up and its the 60th minute and the ball is whipped in, does he stay on his line or look to cut the cross out. Thats were keepers offer their worth, in their decision making. Being a 'good shot stopper' is overrated. Its the equivalent to saying he has a good touch 'for a big man'. if you are a 'good shot stopper', it means your an average keeper. Keepers need need to command their area, make the right decisions and communicate with the defence.

I honestly have no idea how Ramsdale will do. But the money has been spent on him and he is now the future and given Leno's i problems it should now mean Ramsdale is the new number 1.

Absolutely. I think this was the first thing that they should have attended to as soon as the transfer window opened, in fact they should have begun and made all the preparations to off-load all the Deadwood long before the wind ow opened so that they could get rid of the sewage and start afresh with a clean slate and bring in as many of the academy youngsters as was feasible...Whilst buying the players we so desperately need in the vital positions.

Just the thought of Clive, Tofu tree planter, toilet brush and arrogant Leno still wearing the shirt and representing us on the pitch makes me
want to Vomit.

Arteta is a dead man walking I just hope edu fuckksOff as well when he gets the tin tack.
