It's fucking awful. Proof that the board have no connection with the fans at all.

Crunts holding their scarves over their head during the song are making it worse - we're not Liverpool, we never will be. You can't take an old song, some stripey scarves and all of a sudden develop atmosphere.

Reduce beer prices so it's less than the pub, and open the stadium 3 hours before kick off if you really want atmosphere.

as digger and i posted on another forums ...he's a fat white guy who looks like evil kenival on a bad day, singing a shit song. he/it has no connection with Arsenal at all. redaction had a fucking impersonator at the rocket (that sums them up) ..where was the risk assessment there? lol

the song is a sign of the further yankyfying (is that a word?) our the great game of football. i just wish they would fuck off and take their pink hats with them.

This thread crops up quite often, and as always, I have to say that our song should be Good Old Arsenal.

In fact, I would almost go as far as saying, we should have no choice about it.. Good Old Arsenal is - whether the club likes it or not - the Arsenal anthem! just like Everton come out to Z-Cars and Liverpool come out to You'll never ***** alone.. but, for reasons that seem beyond belief, they've decided to go with Elvis

I just wonder if there's some internal politics, or a business decision, that I'm not aware of, that has ruled out Good Old Arsenal in favour of a tune by a world famous artist eg. was it a decision based on the boards desire to make Arsenal a global brand??

It's just a bloody song, some people have nothing better to moan about, if they had no song then they would complain about that. I tell you what you try and find a song 60.000 people all would like to hear. Should we have a different song for each game then a vote at the end of the season?
