Busts at Arsenal

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

And rightly so.

He pulled the strings, called in some favours and set the tone ever since.

An offiial club statement read:-

"We recognise that many people over the years have contributed to the Arsenal that you see before you today, least of all our supporters. We have chosen to display these busts in the directors entrance so we can remind ourselves how magnificent we all are and how we richly deserve the big cigars and brandy we enjoy after each game. It was originally suggested that these were displayed somewhere where our fans could also enjoy them but after much discussion we decided "fuck 'em", it's our jolly club, not theirs."
