I thought the embroiderd poppy on the front of our players shirts today was a very nice touch. Well done Arsenal.

I believe the club plan to sell them off to make money for the old soldiers.

Didn't another Premier League club ban the sales of poppies at the stadium this week as it wasn't their chosen charity?

Arsenal showing their class once again 8) :barscarf:

Is it a day to remember fallen soldiers? Sorry to ask but I've been wondering what that flower meant these past couple weeks

Armistice Day, Nov the 11th. Used to remember soldiers killed in wars ever since world war 1, think poppies are used as they tend to grow in the area's of France were the bloodiest battles were fought
