Undermining the Mickey Mouse Cup (13/11)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

usual thread starter… you have to hand it to Chavski. Before the defeat by Liverpool Scholari said he thought his team could go unbeaten all season. Now this. They’ll still win the league though.

Good of Didier Drogba to donate some of his wages to the crowd at last night’s game    8)

Arsenal playing a youth team does not detract or undermine the competition it has benefited it for the last couple of seasons. It adds intrigue and excitement, the media definitely get many pages from it and most fans love to see it.
It benefits us in resting a small squad and other teams see it as a chance to progress past us and win silverware.....the fools.
This could be the year, though i think both the Sp*ds and Man u wouldnt rotate so many of their players if they were to be drawn against us as they did this week, which would make it a lot more difficult for the young guns. Interesting though.

For me it is not a question of Arsene having the bottle to play the same young team in the next round.

This is what the League Cup is about now for us and, no matter how far we get and who we play against, the same squad should be used.

All or nothing.
