Who should be the moderator? You decide

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Well obviously I'm going to vote for myself, but I'm not sure anyone was genuinely trying to become a moderator - well, in saying that, I can only speak for myself...

Slow news day... :P

No DB10?

I have nothing against the current moderator, he has traditional values. Very disappointed daz you coming over here with your american arguments just because this site is so succesful.

I suggest you have an informal meeting with the moderator to see if you can benefit us.

Promises of big name popular gooner stars will not blind us loyal gooners. We want proof you can deliver if you plan a gooner takeover.

Or have I read all this wrong and gooner.ed is off to Barcelone (Arselona)?

I appreciate the sentiment Chopper. Especially as I haven't paid you for same. But I don't want to be dragged into this political quagmire.

I've seen the effect it has had on our friend Tony Saunders and the way he has turned from a lovable rogue into a power mad egomaniac.

I want to remain a family man. Happy to act in a strictly behind the scenes advisory capacity.

I want to thank all those that have sent in kind wishes on my semi retirement from the political field and confirm that the rumours are true; I will now have even more time to spout pure shite on here...

F*cking sorry about that lads and lasses.

It's a moot point now UFG. Big Bad TS ain't like that any more. He's gone power mad I tells ya! POWER MAD!! Rigging elections, assassinating characters, casting dispertions upon others motives (and in at least one case, sexual preferences!!).

The man is a danger to us all.

Probably...

sorry in advance, I hate to be a pedantic twunt but it's casting aspersions, not dispertions. and TS, don't give in to the dark side. you don't have to go totally cold turkey but if you could be just power peckish as opposed to full on power hungry that would be great.

Ok then Mr pedantic twunt.

It isn't "alternatices", it is "alternatives"!!

OOOOOhhhhhhh that felt good! Those that live in glass houses should NEVER NEVER throw stones!!! 8)

And, before you say it, I know my mistake was in using a word meaning something else entirely (spreading) whereas yours was just a spelling mistake or (more likely) a typo but it still felt good to have that to throw back!

Jaysus, if the Arsenal don't make some signings soon we are gonna turn on each other like a pack of rabid dogs!

Looks like I Hate Hleb has won a very close contest :D!

As his (secret) campaign manager, can I just say how honoured Hlebby is to have won the support and trust of the people.

He wants to apologise for not being here in person (had an urgent appointment at the health clinic he just couldn't afford to miss! ), but has prepared the following statement:

"Firstly, I would like to thank my opponents for a good - if not at all times clean and fair - contest. We traded verbal punches (and even the occasional dirty trick) with good humour and no malice, and have finished the campaign with respect for one another. Well, kind of!

I want everyone to know that I will moderate for all the people of this forum. Today marks a new start. A chance to renew. So I will build on what has gone right and learn from where the previous moderator did not do well enough.

My mission is to make this forum world class, and build on the success (?) it had under the previous moderator. And I know with your help, I can do it.

Finally, I have one thing more that I would like to say, with all sincerity, to my beaten opponents Tony Saunders and Young Ben-Gooner14: I am the winner!! I am the winner!! You are a loser!! I am the winner!!!

Thank you very much."
