Toure withdrawing his transfer request......

Sorry I thought you said there was some good news on this thread.

Would have been £8m of easy money from the throw-cash-away Mancs for a defender who can't jump more than half an inch, has no understanding of the offside trap and who last had a decent game in 2006

Yeah, great news that. Thanks for the morning cheer

but if we had got £8m we would have only have put it in the bank

That's too true - earning a massive 2% interest no doubt !

Still it would have contributed to our "naturally healthy financial situation" (yawn)

My finances would also be naturally healthy if I never spent a fucking bean

We should have ripped the arabs hand off if that was a serious offer!

He is half the player he was 2 years ago and why keep a player who doesn't want to be at the club?

I gave up on reading that when I got to the bit that said 'Wenger - the truth'. That was when I knew it was a load of bollocks.

5m Gallas to Milan

8m Toure to City

leaves us with £13m thats just enough to sign Wayne Bridge  football has gone mad

I heard on good authority that Kolo wasnt injured on saturday, they merely didnt want him cup tied if they sold him. Also, that his beef is more with the boss, rather than Gallas (presumably for favouring the latter after all the fuss he's made).

The only positive in Kolo not leaving would be his departure would leave us even more stretched than we already are, however a move in the summer is a certainty for both the good of the club and the player.
