Sell Diaby?

Post by QuartzGooner »

BBC Gossip page has this snippet:

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has added Arsenal's Abou Diaby to his list of transfer targets. (Daily Telegraph)

If we got a bid of £5M, with a few extra quid in add ons, I would not hesitate to sell him.

Bags of potential, but seems to have gone backwards since his debut (perhaps his injuries have sapped somethign from him?), and a very good goal versus Villa does not convince me he will be a regular in the team.

Seems to lose concentration too easily, cannot tackle, and passing goes astray too often.

No way! sorry but no!
You can't say you want Eboue one minute then Diaby the next. Sorry but your gonna have to stick with wanting Eboue.

in my eyes the likes of diaby, denilson, eboue and song are not good to play for the arsenal and if we get an offer for either or all then we should accept but only if wenger opens his eyes and brings in better replacements

I just don't know with Diaby!

He has bags of potential and when you see him play just behind the front man he looks mustard ala in Turkey earlier in the season.

However, if he was to go I am not sure I would be over concerned.

If Arshavin came and Diaby went then I would be a happy chappy. Oh, and please nobody say he is the person to replace Flamini! He isn't, he hasn't played there and so lets bury that one!

Yeah I'd go for selling him. Although I would want more than £5 mil and some add ons as I'm sure we forked out closer to £7mil for him. Possibly restricted by injuries and few starts in a more natural position, I would still have wanted to see more from him to suggest he is worth hanging on to. I haven't. His distribution is poor along with his insistance to nearly always take on 2/3 players when a simple pass is the better option.

I thought that, then I saw him play there. Awful distribution of the ball, he's not disciplined enough to play that position. He always tries to take players on and loses the ball, regardless of which position he plays in.

After the CC run three years ago, I thought he was the new PV4. Absolutely bossed the midfield in the final, and unlucky not to pick up a winners medal. But since then him, and Denilson, have gone backwards to the point that Ramsey should keep them both out of the team.

£5m? That would have paid Flamini's wages for 18 months - I know who I'd prefer.

he's a fucking lazy prick who constantly gives the ball away (villa). he does have talent but he needs to show it constantly he's had the game time but consistanly fails. yes he was great in turkey and the skill and goal against the villians was great but other than that he's been a pile of poo. if he does'nt step up soon i say trade him in for a bag of spuds then at least we can eat.

Sell 'em all, Sell em' all i tell ya. and then we can finally be left with nothing. no body to play for us. and that way we would at least be guaranteed the club would buy someone to play for us. Or maybe just ask for volunteers.

Quick though: Imagine how hard it would be having the job of trying to market Alex Song to prospective clubs.

Easy! you lower the standard of quality around him to make him look good.
That's the explaination of the current crop to promote Eboue!
