Wenger has re-iterated today that he isn't looking for a defensive player.What more needs to be said about this blind arrogance, although don't suppose he could find one anyway.

you need to stop with the anti wenger shit, he's said on sky sports that he is looking for a DM.

He also hinted that he was in the market for a defensive midfielder to bolster his injury-hit squad.

"That is also a priority," he said.

At the end of last season he said we needed a central defender we buy Silvestre and now we dont need anymore? Fucking joke!!!!

I had to read it twice and was almost the 1st person to respond in a very negative mannor.
Luckily, I re-read the statment before posting.
I do think he's talking about a Centre half when he says "Defencive player".

Personally, he's wrong but it's not meant to be a Centre Midfield. Maybe this is the 'clever' wording of man to the media and the world?

wenger has said he is not after a cb which IMO should be our number 1 priority but has said he is after a holding midfielder which he obviously interpretes as not just a "defensive player". so by the sounds of things we are after arshavin and a cdm. ill believe it when i see it. i would rather upson and a cdm.
