Given that Arshavin is younger, saner and better as well as playing more or less the same type of game, why didn't they opt for him ? Cost would have been similar too - although any add on factor for the petro dollars would hardly be missed by them.

Curious !

I bet Kaka stays put in Milan ! There - you read it here first 8)

just shows you that our 12m bid for arshavin is never going to work. if zenit can see that a shit player like bellamy can get 14m then they are at least going to want 15m

according to sky sports news man city are interested in arshavin and he says man city are his 1st choice seems he will go anywhere that pays him alot of money if true sounds like hes as greedy as that knob bellamy.

Another stroke of genius by football's masters of comedy. Who will it be next, Ade Akinbiyi for £18m?

Hughes sounds desperate.

I can understand Hughes being under a ton of pressure to deliver instant
results, which is a little unfair, and it is likely he will be shown the door come the summer, but ye gods man, Craig bloodly Bellamy?!!!

Think Bellamy is a good footballer when his head is screwed on tight but sparky knows what he is letting himself in for do you know this is his eight club in his career.

good point but still, 14MILL! Maybe kaka was put off at going to man city for that reason. He thought that it would be the start of an era that belonged to man city, then turned on sky sports news and saw this club is also showing their ambitions of building a world class squad by buying CRAIG FUCKING BELLAMY!!!! Has he really been that good this season, spending that much on him is like spending any amount of money on bentdner (OK maybe not that bad but you get my point). I guess that at least it helped west ham in their currently fucked situation
