Maybe....just maybe

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Maybe....just maybe

Post by delgooner »

Well, my monday is getting slightly better, having had my head buried up my arse most of the weekend I did pull it out slightly so one eye could see the news this morning to see that La Boss has pulled off another scoop without the shite media, manscum and chel$hite getting a whiff of it so they could fuck it up. Ive been reading the thoughts of fellow gooners and as I said in "the miffed" article that I thought that when we did sign someone that most would be disappointed.

But you have to hand it to La Boss, he has this magic about him of sniffing out these players and turning them into the best players in the world and we end up fighting off the likes of Madrid and Barcewanker who always want to nick our best players - funny how they never want any Manscum or Chel$hite players (except for Horseface).

Im slowly coming out of my paranoia mood now, and thinking would La Boss go and get this 24 year old if he was gonna fuck off soon? I dont think so. This is in the plan of the Great One to build his 3rd great team that maybe...just maybe win him the Champions League before he moves upstairs to the throne room where he will be crowned King of Arsenal.

Cesc has said on the BBC sports line that he's not interested in Madrid or Barcewanker (hmmm, I'll maybe sleep on that one) still have memories of TH "my heart says Arsenal but my wallet says Barcewanker", anyway I think that Cesc and the boys can now come out and play the way they want to play together rather than having TH scowling at them if they didnt pass to him or fucked a move up. Perhaps we will now see RVP come into his own right, Theo can only get stronger and better now that he's had his back op. Tommy can do things now instead of them all being bunched up in the middle. This new kid of what Ive seen of him on the tube he seems a tough one and steams through defences and is not easily pushed off the ball like we have had last season. And we have a new goalkeeper who I think will soon dethrone the mad hun as I dont think anybody like that fucking runt Dickov is gonna get much out of him, not like the mad hun who gets wound up if anybody dares to fart within 3 feet of him, plus he can actually catch the ball from set plays.

So Maybe...just maybe 8)

Bang on the money there, Del. Just give us a couple more signings Arsene. Please. Pretty please....

I like Lehmann but he has cost us in big games with his dodgy temperament and his "Iz zat ze ball zirty yards out? Ja? I vill be having zat!" views on "closing down opponents"...

All together now, to the tune of Vieira...

Fabianski woo-ooo-oo
Fabianski woo-ooo-oo
He doesn't act the clown
He doesn't f*ck around

With no disrespect meant to Jens - who is still the only keeper in the Prem (and in our history) to play a whole season with out losing a game, let's not forget!! 8)

 I think jens is the dogs b*ll*x me. I love the fact that he is mad and in a team which sometimes is too soft mad jens redresses the balance. All through the years The Arsenal have had players who had a "don't fuck with me" attitude and jens is of a similar ilk. While i accept that on occasions he goes too far i would also point out that he gets zero protection from the morons that referee the game in england. Jens, u da man !

Love him as we do Jens does overstep the mark and is too often an accident waiting to happen. It would be funny if it wasn't likely to cost us games and goals. For me he had a great first season because he was motivated by a new challenge. He then dipped off in his second season hence why he got dropped. He then had a fantastic 3rd season mainly as he had the huge motivation of trying to secure No.1 spot in the German World Cup side. But last season I thought he was average and had little motivation. Maybe Fabianski offering genuine competition for the No. 1 Jersey will provide Jens with the extra motivation (and someone to fight at training!!) which will see him recapture to form 2005/2006. Failing that, move aside Jens. Until that moment comes we need to take advantage of every opportunity to sing; "He's big, he's a Kraut and he'll f*cking knock you out Jens Lehmann, Jens Lehmann!!!" (to the Manu porno flick tune)

P.S. Two defenders (Right back and a Centre Half) and a winger now please Arsene.
