da Silva the new Kanu????

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

da Silva the new Kanu????

Post by DB10GOONER »

Is it me or does da Silva look like Kanu with a new hairstyle in this photo?

http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?this ... o+da+Silva

Bizarre...

I just hope he emulates Kanu in one way and scores a hatrick to single-handedly rob the chav$ki shitebags next season.

Yes I think you are right!
I wonder what he is thinking in the pictures of his first day at the E******s titled "Eduardo slips on his Arsenal shirt" (sorry dont know how to transport pics). He looks like he is watching some interesting highlights on the big screen, maybe the interview with Thierry saying he was going to finish his career at Arsenal?

Hopefully he will be the first bit of "da silva" ware we will get next season.........

DB10 (or should that be Stevie Wonder) :)

In answer, it's you! Were you drinking for breakfast or finishing off a late night? I have no problem with either!

Me to,m8!
I'm Dinamo fan,and can't wait to buy his shirt!
Maybe we have your 10m GBP,but we've lost our captain and 50 goals in next season!
If he quickly adapts on Arsenal style of play and EPL in general, you'll get your new idol and quite a few supporters in Croatia.
When he played for us,we knew we're starting with at least one goal ahead,he's that good,no,even better!
Too bad our defence couldn't do their job...

I didnt know he was the captain of Dinamo. I really hope he emulates what he did in Croatia for us.

He looks different and I think he will bring more success to the gunners.

He is not Kanu or Henry....His style of play will suit Arsenal very well. Can't wait to see him Action. :D

All the Best and Good Luck De Sliva.

Hope he got some Croatian Fighting Spirit on him

Post by Drone »

Looks bad enough, hope he got da right skills.
Croatia is a land of Fighters, dont get me wrong but i seen dat in da last wars here at ballkans. We hepled them and they helped us to kick Serbians out of our lands. (Us helped NATO also).
They have also great football culture since decades but as every other nation in Ex Yugosllavia were pushed hard by Serbians, but since they eaned the Independence in an wery Hard and honourable War, they proved that the bigest talent in Ex Yug. footbal team was from Croatia. Remember Shuker, Prosinecki, Kozniku, etc etc they all were first clas players and they were Croatians. Hope DUDU builded an Croatian way of Honour, attitude, and fighting spirit. Than if he got dat, he will be an Hammer.
I'm very happy we got something from my land in da team. (PS. I live in Kosovo but having same Ancesors (ILIRIANS) with Croatians i consider my self still an ILIRIAN, and Croatia as land of my grand grand fathers)

And i think he can be beter than: geting the ball in front of the goal about 6 foot away with an empty net and missing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He dosent look to me as KANU but as BIG BATO. An great ILIRID fighter ever who almost destroyed Roman Empire 300 year befroe C.

Kaqak,

I'm really loving the history lesson. 8) However, you forgot to mention that it was Tony Blair and Britain that urged the U.S. and Nato to get involved in the Balkans in the first place. Without that, who knows what would have happened in the former Yugoslavia.
