Any of you motley crew going to Emirates on 29th?

Hmmm....

Del I thought you were Irish there for a second. "Yous lot" is VERY Dublinese! But then you spelled "craic" as "crack" so I'm guessing you ain't Irish!!

I, unfortunately won't be over pre season as I'm saving like a mentalist for a trip over in either Sept or Oct. When I confirm which I must arrange to meet a few off here in the Rocket or somewhere near. Would be a blast!!

It's normally the Gunners or the Pins for me. I have a ticket but I'm not sure if I'll be going or not. Bummer!

Excuse my ignorance, but what and where is the Rocket :?:

I have been going to Highbury and now the Grove but the Rocket is a new one on me :!:

I used to use the Arsenal Tavern but it was always a tad rough and ready for my upper class tastes :P

The Rocket is on Holloway Road. It's the uni's student union.

Rebel Gooner, that's strange because I've been in twice with my red membership. From my experience the bouncers aren't really that professional, so have a word and I'm sure they'll let you in.

Yeah, been in both millions of times - very good. The Tavern can be a bit "boisterous" but I've always enjoyed it.

I spent a couple of years frequenting the Cannon Club as well. It's members and members' guests only (Andy, the owner at the time, is a mate of a mate) and it was mental in there some nights. We fell out of the place one morning at six am after a Southhampton match in 2003. 8)

Mostly go in the Rocket now. Great pre and post match atmos! 8)

Cheers rebel, I am no stranger to the pins and spent a few nights in it when we used to hotel on 7 Sisters Rd. Now we fly into and stay in Luton which is handy for hungover trips back to the airport in the morrning :P

I go to the herbert chapman before most games. Strange place that, I think it's an awful pub, no atmosphere or anything. but somehow i feel drawn to it everytime. weird.

also cant go wrong with the gunners

Originally went to the Herbert Chapman but like you say no atmosphere.

The Rocket is the place to be for me these days. Mates have got in with red membership too, just flash it they don't tend to look too closely on the door.

Tommy Flynn's not bad too or the Kings in Finsbury Park.
