Buy Arsene BUY!!!!

Post by mattbanger »

Right every pre-season i get sick of all the players we are linked with and ultimately disappointed when we dont sign them, but i always comfort myself by remembering that "in Arsene we trust" i also go on to question where these potential new signings would fit in our already stunning team!

But this year it's different and this is why:

1. Le Boss is refusing to commit to the club

2. Once again our club captain has left, but to make things worse he is our all time leading goal scorer and absolute legend!!

3. Mr Dein has departed the board and we are currently trusting an OAP to deal with our transfers.

4. The board refuse to make a statement informing us fan that we are Skint!! and fill us with the crap that hte move to Ashburnham Grove hasn't affected our spending power!!

5. Several first team players are openly informing the press and fans that they feel unsettled, What message does this send to potential new signings!

6. We are on Sky four times in 4 months this year compaired to the 7 times last year!

8. Every other club in the top four and in europe are bringing in new faces and ultimately strenghting their squads but at Arsenal we have or top players moaning or leaving or planning a move next summer, Le Boss included in this.

These are just a few reasons why arsene should get the cheque book out and make some big signings!! The fact that Liverpool have made an apporach for babel today just underlines that they have signed torres last week and are alresdy bringing in another class player!!

Arsene said he wanted to bring in 3 ' top, top class players' So far i cant see one!! i think eduardo will be good but he is not a player that is going to get the rest of the country or europe worried!! we need to spend and we need to spend big!! the writting is on the wall for a uefa cup place this season!! and the thought of the scum playing in the champions league is enough to make any arsenal fan worried!!

So Arsene do the right thing!! :P

I believe that Wenger will sign a new contract at the begining of april next year as soon as US tycoon Stan Kroenke completes his takeover and David Dein is back on board

1st week of April, mark my words :D 8)

i dont care what he thinks to be honest, he used the hole David Dein exit as an excuse and so did his agent (david's son).

the reason Dein hasn't spoke to the press or taken another job is because he knows he will be back

If anyone believes that Dein is not on the Kroenke paroll right now then they need to wise up!

He will be doing all the behind the scenes stuff for a takeover!

Still not sure how I feel about it but if it's going to happen the sooner the better.

Maybe the board haven't got the money to fund AW's signings or are hoping that if the club drops out of CL places it will be less attractive for SS to buy.

On the other hand SS is quite happy to sit back and watch a season of struggle hoping the share prices will drop.

Either way we lose out!

remember the board said there were not goin 2 do anything for 12 months :? we wont know anything till nxt summer,, :? be more attractive 2 sell then, less 2 pay off and much bigger turnover

:x I think we all know that the boards refusal to sell up for 12 months is based on 2 things - 1. Fiszman is waiting for his tax exile status so that he avoids paying those lovely tax people a wad of cash & 2. They would rather sell to the devil than to David Dein. As stated above the only ones losing out in the meantime are the fans. A lot has been written in the meantime by fans opposing the kroenke buyout basically scaremongering by talking up massive borrowing a la the glazier takeover of manure but the reality is that we do not know how he intends to fund it and yet again I am stating that we should at least have a chance to hear his proposals. I would welcome DD's return without hesitation and I still trust his intentions implicitly. The question I keep asking opponents of a kroenke takeover is if Wenger says he will piss off next year if DD & Kroenke are not in power then will these fans still oppose kroenke ? I have yet to hear ant response from any of them. Methinks they are sticking their heads in the sand hoping it won't happen but if Arsene hasn't signed before January or worse still he has signed a contract with a get out clause (what is the point in getting him to sign that kind of a contract ?) then I think they will be very worried
