Thierry and Dennis
You know how people tell you never to look back or you never know what you've really got until you lose it? Well driving along today I found myself reminiscing about these 2 gentleman and how lucky we were that they both shared their best years with us.
Ahhh what wonderful memories eh? Brings a tear to your eye!

That's freaky, I was thinking exactly the same today!!
I was actually thinking of the perfect partnership upfront and obviously Dennis could just play with anyone becausse of his intelligence but would have loved to see Eduardo next to Henry as well. We spent years looking for a fox in the box to play next to him and now we finally found one he's gone!

I was also thinking the same thing today.
Maybe it's not that unusual?

It's not unusual to think back to happy times,
coz seeing Ade wearing our shirt seems such a crime,
And getting 80 grand when he's just a waste of time,
It's not unusual to hear fans cry,
as another chance goes by....

Brady was slightly before my time (as in I only caught his latter years at Arsenal) so excluding him we have never had a better player in the club(imo) than DB10 who was a god to me in terms of skill, vision and utter dedication
That said arshavin appears to have the attributes to play his role (ie off the main striker) better than anybody we have had since the great mans retirement and I really hope that when/if we ever get everybody back fit that wenger plays aa in that role so we can maximise the guys talents

Disagree on Seaman Augie but 100% with you on Arshavin!! Wenger loves footballers with brains (Song?!?!?) and you can see that Arshavin is a brilliant player who can pick a pass out along the lines of Dennis. At the time Dennis had Thierry and Freddie who were willing to make those runs to receive the pass and what I hope is that we develop a front 2 who can maximise Arshavin's potential. In time maybe Theo will become one of them. During games you often see him make a run across the back line but nobody as yet has been alive to it. Until now that is....
