Aethist all the way. I respect whatever other people wish to believe in but having graduated with a degree in Anthropology and studying evolution I just don't see how people can flat deny evolution and the fact that there are "human-like" skeletons (Australopithecus afarensis) dated over 4 million years old when the Bible clearly states otherwise.


(Hypothetically) Imagine if civilization was wiped out and when new humans eventually evolved and came back and say the only books they found were The Lord of the Rings and the Silmarillion. They could think that it was real history and that there really was a ring of power and that Sauron was the devil. Sounds crazy right? Well so doesthe Holy Grail, Noah's Arc, and Jesus being resurected...


It's all fairy tales...sorry.

Religion calls for peace and harmony ,but over the centuries in Europe and middle east 9 out of 10 wars which have started and fought have been in the name of religion.As in today's society there is conflicts going on in the name of god,so i'm going to become a vicar and start fighting and get away with it. :lol:
