I think Google are trying to milk it for every penny.

I don't see how it can't work - surely soemthing along the lines of Royalties everytime it gets played like the do on Radio.

It's such a good method for finding tunes you've never heard, either past or present. The music industry would be cutting off it's nose to spite its face.

I would guess that youtube will lose a lot of custom.

People will go to other places to get the same stuff.
