Barnet 0 - 2 Arsenal - who went?

Post by demzy »

Who went to underhill today? what did u think?

I think played ok, but it was only barnet. it was good to see the kids get a run out in the second half. i thought henri lansbury played well when he came on for the injured denilson (heard its not too serious). he has a good touch, makes space for himself and a good range of passing. theo walcott showed glimpses of class, terrorising the defence with his place. another player who did well was nacer barazite. he looks a good strong player, with lots of skill and scored a superb goal, albeit the keeper should of saved it.

Loved meeting the players before the match (sadly i had no pen :( to get autographs). I met shook hands with Wenger, Clichy, Alummina (he's huge), Da Silva (i wished him good luck though he never played), Kolo, Theo & Robin (wishing him the best as well)
Though Adeboyer was had the hump & hardly signed anything :x
I also loved the end of the match with Evans coming on when everyone was joking that he'd let himself go

From what i have heard of Fabianski from supporters who went to the game he sounds like he is following in the footsteps of Jens.

He was good
I was behind the goal where he was & seems to be a captain material (Kolo did give him the armband though)

Nevermind, bit of controlled anger never hurt anyone.

What was the second goal like?

I've only seen footage of Adebayor's.

Why were they wearing different numbers to their squad numbers?

The 2nd goal was great 17-year-old sub Nacer Barazite run into the box had a shoot which the keeper probs should of done better but hey it looked great
Also the shirt numbers was old style 1 - 11 at start of game and no names, im not sure why but i loved seeing RVP in the number 10 shirt i think i might get number 10 with no name on my shirt, it looked good 8)

I didnt go but watched Sky sports news.

Did anyone else see the comic moment of the reporter trying to interview Eduardo?

His English obviously aint all there yet and he just stared at the reporter as if he was an alien and the walked off!

Was a classic!
