This is just getting ridiculous. Greatly reduces our chances of winning anything this season if true, we need his pace

If this is true then that's it for me. Time to move on. He is too light weight for the PL. :banghead:

As I said, IF it's true before anyone gets their knickers in a knot...

seems to be the only place repoting this! Wenger didnt say anything in his press confrence (that i know of anyway) either.

this would be bollocks if true! Theo has looked pretty lively in his last 2 appearances against hull (in second half) and blackburn!

Totally with you on that one DB - for far too long we have carried too many lightweight and injury prone players and have been paying them top dollar as well so it is time to get rid of them all and maybe lighten our financial situation while we are at it.
This is not a knee jerk reaction to an as yet unconfirmed story cos I have been advocating this course of action for some time and if theo falls into this bracket it will be sad but so be it cos with a squad as small as ours we simply cannot afford to carry permanently injured players :(

Does seem strange no one else is reporting it at the moment, but be odd rumour to be going round if it wasn't true

Walcott injures knee in training session

Theo Walcott will miss Saturday’s trip to Newcastle after injuring his knee at Friday morning’s training session.

The England winger has only just returned from almost four months out with a dislocated shoulder and, speaking at his pre-match press conference, Arsène Wenger revealed that the 20-year-old will face another spell on the sidelines.

The extent of the injury is unclear but the manager expects Walcott to be withdrawn from the England squad for the forthcoming fixtures.

“Walcott got injured today in training,â€

fuck!!!

This really fucks us over.

even if it's as bad as feared though, the reaction of getting rid of him because of an injury is just ridiculous.

It isnt because of an injury as you put it but more like multiple injuries. Then again you probably think that keeping rosicky on the payroll is important to our club too

He's had three notable injuries since he came to Arsenal.

Dislocated his shoulder twice due to a hereditary condition (which has been sorted), and tweaked his knee this morning.

Hardly something to sack him over.....
