Mine top 3 goalscores are

1. RvP
2. Edurdo
3. Adebayor

i also think Cesc might be our highest midfield goal scorer this season with Tomas just behind him hopefully Cesc can reach double figures

1. Adebayor with 8 goals.
2. Gilberto with 7 goals (six penalties)
3. RVP, Cesc, Clichey, Da Silva, Theo, Rosicky and Lehmann all on 1 goal.

depends on how well eduardo travells and how well RVP returns to form. i reckon RVP could be a really big player for us this year. but i reckon it'll be RVP 1st and Eduardo 2nd or vice versa. what you also have to remember is that eduardo is a poacher (in the mould of gerd muller from what i've heard) and we have a side that creates a lot of opportunities in and around the box. A match made in heaven? Only time will tell!

also i'm lucky enough to be going to the first game of the season (the day after i get back from portugal) i wasn't going to be able to, but they moved the fixture to the sunday. thank you rupert merdoch :D

Got to agree with 1886

1. RvP
2. Edurdo
3. Adebayor

Who would everyones starting 2 be? mine would be 1 & 2 above or is anyone out there fancying a bit or rotation? Suerly we won't play a 4-3-3!

RvP Eduardo
Adebayor / Rosicky

Diaby Cesc

Gilberto

Clichy Gallas Toure Sagna

Subs:

Bentdner
Theo
Rosicky / adebayor
Djourou
Hleb

Would love to see that in a friendly would take some bottle to risk it to get us through a season though!

Damn didn't keep my editing to show positions!!

After writing that though had a thought about 4-5-1

Eduardo/adebayor

RvP Diaby Gilberto Cesc Theo/Rosicky

Clichy Gallas Toure Sagna

Now that would be a world class team, great for the champions league!! diaby gilberto and cesc can win tough midfield battles with 3 of them, theo and rvp for lightning and deadly counter attacking, loads of creativity for normal attacking from midfield and eduardo or adebayor would both be a massive headache up top, adebayor has shown he can irritate as a lone striker! and plenty of cover for the back four, not a single weak link either!

I think i've fallen in love with this idea :D

With Wenger's comments about Dudu's versatility, I have a feeling this will be an option for our left sided winger. I know that won't do his goal scoring ability justice, but who are we to argue with La Boss if he choses that path?

I think Theo, when not keeping AW and PR company, will be seen predominantly down the right side of midfield. I think we will go for another striker before August.

Guessing six numbers will be easier than guessing who AW has in mind. Personally, if we are looking for a Premiership striker, they don't come better than the The Incredible Sulk. In that case my choice of 3 would be:

1.
2. RVP
3. Adebayor

3rd - Eduardo

I"m not Le Sulks biggest fan because of the way he left us but if we do sign him i can see him scoring 20 goals for us.i can see fireworks between him and RVP though, they are both loose cannons.

1. Le Sulk
2.Eduardo
3.RVP

Rather than do what everyone is doing and listing our three senior strikers in a few different arrangements, I'm going to take a different approach. I think our top three goalscorers will be:

1. RvP
2. Rosicky
3. Fabregas

I don’t think Adebayor is, or ever will be a prolific goalscorer and I’m accounting for Eddie taking some time to settle in. Moreover, I think that with a season of experience and a clean bill of health under his belt, Tommy can shine next season, and seeing as the Gas Man found his goalscoring touch towards the end of last season, I reckon he’ll be up there too.

I see that no one is mentioning Hleb…

Er, I REALLY hope you are not accusing me (oops - er, sorry - Mr Alan Kelly) of shoddy journalism. I've heard from a VERY good source that he stands by every beautifully crafted word.

And, yes, we do have Mr Kelly to thank for inserting his Spec Ops team and taking out the manc SCUDS so the ground war could begin in earnest.

I love the smell of tippex in the morning. one night they attacked a thread, we pounded them all night long, and in the morning when we went up there, we didn't find one, not one stinking manc body. but that smell, that solvent smell, smelled like... Victory.

you know, some day this war's gonna end.
