Advice for Pre-Season

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Advice for Pre-Season

Post by pfbrune »

Hello,
I've followed Arsenal for 7 years (from the US), and am finally in a position to be present at my first live match! Granted, it's only a pre-season exhibition against Salzburg, but all the same I'm very excited.

Would anybody have advice for how to maximize this (for me) unique opportunity, in particular as regards how pre-season matches usually "work." I.e. should I get to the stadium early and watch warm-ups... etc?

Thanks!

Phil

welcome to the forum pfbrune ... I am relatively new here myself, but already having loads of fun being in the forum.

pre-season matches are not really that significant, and lack the passion of regular competitive matches. So, dont stress about how best to attend the match .. just focus on being comfortable and having fun.

Me, I get excited each time I am going to see an arsenal match .. pre-season, real-match, testimonial or whatever ... most gunners do. So, enjoy .. and make sure u come back to the forum to tell us all about it.

:D :D :D

Well for starters they should not get injured. Btw are you holidaying in Austria? Could you bring me some of those Beethoven chocolates from Salzburg?
