VILLARREAL HOME

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Interesting how all the forecasts show a nil for Villareal?!?!?
Unfortunately after the way we played in the first half in Spain and at Wigan today a nil is being very optimistic I reckon.
It's gonna be a tense night but I'm praying 2-1!

Eboue I really can't see Villareal getting a goal, despite the fact we have a CB shortage.

Well they had us on the run in the first half of the first leg. They ping the ball around well in the final third and are a talented team, no doubt about that. We're gonna have to be on our game, particularly early on. I just feel that it's not the walk in the park that some might think.

they are lossin 1-0 to Malaga as we speak, with vertually the same team that played against us.
Same thing happened last week and it dint make much of a difference to their confidence but lets hope it does this time.

I see your point, but I still think we will boss it, we are to strong for them at home, especially with RvP back.

Only downside is Arshavin can't play, what a fucking shit rule that is.
