That's the power of music!

Maybe it's because I'm from a musical family, or because Les Miserables is one of my favourite musicals, or maybe (and I think this is the reason) it's because it was just such a complete shock that someone, as you say, "with a face like a smacked arse" and acting like a clown, had such a beautiful, beautiful voice.

I loved it. It's a difficult song to sing, and she did a damn fine job.

In fact, one of my pet hates about the music industry, and the society that we live in, is that a person's beauty is seen to be as important as their voice! I find that incredibly sad.

She's also managed to promote interest in Les Miserables, and West End musicals, to a new, younger, audience... and that's wonderful.

I had dust in my eye not crying, but getting back to your point. Fuck it let's not go to Wembley tomorrow and enjoy ourselves. Let's donate our beer and ticket money to rid the world of child abuse, end wars and starvation etc.

TV is full of bad news and you're missing the point. Yes she has a face like a bag of old spanners but she had a stunning, natural voice that would blow away all the plastic made up shite we're fed.

Sorry i still dont get it (and i admit to being a miserable twat

very adult) i think its great that anyone has a good voice but dont get choked up over the fact she is ugly i presume then im the one who doesnt only see the outer beauty? . Im not belittling anyone by saying this and maybe its because i have lost people close to me at a young age over the years just think there are more important things to get upset over.....

As for what Reg said im not saying lets not have a good time and enjoy tomorrow and enjoy everything you do football or not just think there are better things to lose tears over
