Villa Draw

Post by Chippy »

Villa only drew at Bolton today. We should be 10 points ahead by this time tomorrow. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

They have had a shocking run. Seems they're blaming it on the injury to Laursen. What does that say about Barry, Agbonlahor, Young etc...

I thought we were in with a chance of overtaking them as soon as they signed Heskey!

I am suprised how easily they have rolled over as they are a fucking good side.

Win tomorrow, and even ultra cautious me will feel we're secure in 4th place.

Beat 'Boro and we're 10pts clear, with 4 to play... and our goal difference is far better than Villa's, too.

I know we should be looking to finish 3rd now, but lets not get too downbeat at the prospect of being in an open Champions League qualifying draw in August, as lets not forget that we were ONLY moments away from being 8 points behind Villa a few weeks back, and since then they've imploded.

We've been in great form recently, but if it hadn't coincided with Villa's callapse, then our run may have come too late.

We've been lucky, and hopefully it's a wake up call for Wenger, the players, and the money men at Arsenal.

We're The Arsenal... and for the investment the fans put in to watching our team, fighting for 4th isn't good enough.
