Same old bullshit from Wenger.Come August the 31st when we havent signed the players we desperatley need he will say"I didnt want to kill the likes of Diaby,Denilson and Song"

As for him saying we have plenty of strikers.Yes we have. They are all either lazy, injured or not good enough.

So there we have it the target for next season is 4th place. Now C"mon and hurry up and pay your season ticket renewals :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I look forward to Arsene being constantly linked with these 1 or 2 players throughout the Summer before eventually watching Liverpool pay £15m for one of them and then holding off for the other until the last micro-second of the January window

Remember not to get disappointed in the Summer - we know what to expect by now

1. A poll of the top 100 Arsenal groundsmen on the official site
2. Our "new signings" being announced.....a series of 16 year olds signing their professional contracts
3. Confirmation that 26 of our players will be sent on loan to Spanish 2nd division clubs and Championship clubs
4. Lots of noises about our "sustainable business model".
5. Lots of comments about "this team has matured", "Learned our mistakes from last year"....the most important thing is not who we sign but keeping this team together

I KNOW WHAT THE SUMMER HOLDS !

“We will try of course to bring in one or two players to strengthen the squad but we have plenty of strikers.
Does this mean that Wenger wants to KEEP Adebayor?? :?
“And if we buy, it certainly won't be players who lack experience. We have enough of those.â€

It will no doubt be another frustrating summer.

Again Wenger has realised we have too little too late. He has finally admitted we do not need strikers and that must mean he has seen the error of his ways with regards to the midfield and the defence.

Fucking shame us mere mortals saw it long before.

He also tells us not to panic as he backs the kids.....

By Chris Harris

Arsène Wenger's message was loud and clear at his pre-match press conference on Friday: don't panic.
The Frenchman and his team have come under fire since they crashed out of the Champions League in midweek. Manchester United's emphatic 4-1 aggregate win raised questions about Wenger's transfer policy and the quality and experience within his squad.
The Arsenal manager will listen to his critics but he is convinced that there are plenty of positives to take from this season's run in Europe. And he refuses to bin his youth policy when it is beginning to bear fruit.
"If you look at our team on Tuesday night, our oldest player in midfield was 22. They are in the best four in Europe, so why should we panic?" asked Wenger.
"I believe we have to take on the chin the critics, but at the end of the day, it is down to how strongly we believe in ourselves and how good I think the team is.
"You cannot imagine that we work as we did with young players and give them a chance, then let them go.
"We are criticised because we play young players, then we are supposed to let them go when they are in a position where they start to perform at the top level? That is not acceptable."

Clearly it looks like Adebayor will stay. We were never going to buy a striker unless we sold one.

We don't just need a CM and a CB, we need more leaders and maybe even a new captain.

That Lorik Cana his name keeps popping up, well he is Marseille captain.
That would be a good start.

An English player or 2 wouldn't hurt either. Jagielka would be a great buy and I would even take Cattermole.

We might get lucky if AC Milan offer Greedybayor £80,001 a week he'll probably want to go there

I reckon having Gazidis on board will make things happen quicker in the transfer market, and with any luck Uncle Stan might even throw in a few quid now he's the main shareholder

Even that won't work Calo, Dead-Wood is happy as long as we rake in the cash.

Hopefully Dead-Wood and co can be forced of the board at some stage.
