Les Anglo-Saxons beg you to take stock Monsieur…

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Although I can see the point that Veda is attempting to make the article itself is total pants.
He seems to live in a little cultural island.
What drivel. Wenger is a man more multi-cultural than any other individual I've come across with the possible exception of the late Peter Ustinov.
At work he has enjoyed and absorbed the uncritical praise of football friends
Unless you work with him you have no idea if that is true or just a figment of your imagination.
Arsenal supporters don’t care about Arsène Wenger
Most that I know care a great deal about Arsène Wenger.
Arsenal supporters care only for winning
Not so.
Supporters don’t care about any individual players either
You're having a laugh.

I agree; I dont only care about Arsenal winning...I also care about Sp*rs losing!!

We are a complete work in progess and this is the bad time of our progress from Highbury. I still think Wenger is the man to deliver BUT yes, he has made some bad transfer/tactical decisions the last year.

He has also made some good ones - Nasri and Arshavin (early days i agree but he looks the part so far). Look back when we were winning; for every Vieirra there was a Vivas/Grimandi type signing too. Ones that didnt work.

It does feels like he is gambling with our chances of winning anything with his current bunch as no-one is flurishing in the same way and is plainly obvious they wont (Cesc/Sagna aside).

If Arsene goes who comes in and takes over his players/Aresnals transition though? We will become a part of the managerial circus if a new appointment fails which is very likely these days.

For now im grateful for our stability in the coaching and happy for Wenger to carry on for another close season to see who we sign. The clock is obviosly ticking for him if he c*cks up another transfer window but it feels too early to say the time has come for him.
