Emmanuel Adebayor has risked alienating himself from Arsenal fans following an interview serialised in the Daily Mail where he suggested at this stage in his career, money is all important.
The Togolese striker is asked by the BBC Africa Sports editor, Farayi Mungazi: ‘How important is money to footballers? A lot of them say it is not about the money. Is that true?’ to which the player, heavily linked with a move to AC Milan and Barcelona, replied:
“It is not true, it is about money.â€

It's so fucking frustrating, why has he become so bloody lazy, is it simply because he doesn't want to be here, I just don't know, cos if he fucks off to milan and gets his act together, then there is no doubt he is a good player. And there is no guarantee we can find someone to bang in 30 goals next season(rvp certainly won't), which the lazy big *word censored* is capable of if he would get his fucking finger out.PI7ES wrote:Indeed, to think i thought he was going to be a supserstar last year. Just watch one of them games from the first half of last season. He worked his socks off, got goals, assists he looked likehe could be a complete striker.
Now i wouldnt pick him for our reserves.
If we can get 15mil he should go.
Is it because wenger is too fucking soft and lets him and others away with it, that would certainly explain certain players unquestioned loyalty to le boss, rather than the club.

I think a player like ade needs a manager like fergy or mourinho, he needs motavating, he needs to be told hes playing shit or not working hard enough and it aint good enough.
Thats just not what wenger does, he sees the best in everyone. We could have akinbye upfront and wenger would still praise him, telling us he the worlds greatest.
